    Mine didn't get flaky, but mine did stay odd for a while after going gluten-free. They had been all kinds of odd for years. Now they're brown and sink. Every day. Unless I get glutened or sick. It did take a while for them to normalize - a few months. I think it just takes a while for your body to heal and start processing things properly. Nancy

    Not yet. My daughter has had an upsurge in symptoms and just got positive Enterolab tests. I've been busy just with that.     Yep! My symptoms got so bad when I was pregnant with my youngest that I ended up being house-bound because of GI symptoms and pain. It was horrible. Now that I went gluten-free, all that disappeared. Like somebody flipped a switch. Nancy

    I tried the gluten-free Pantry Pie Crust and was thinking that it would be a good crust for a quiche. I haven't ventured into recipes and am just trying mixes right now, so I don't have any advice on recipes.

    I thought the beef in corn tortilla ones were gluten-free too. I mostly give them to my kids, so I don't remember if I've tried them since going gluten-free. Thanks for the heads up. This is a good reminder for all of us to read those labels even if you've been buying something forever. Nancy

    I use Bob's Red Mill gluten-free Flour. It works PERFECTLY. No weird flavors that I can tell. My non-gluten-free husband uses it now to thicken all the sauces he makes when he cooks. I even used it to make a cheese sauce to put over veggies and it worked perfectly. I'm not sure if you need to use more or less compared to wheat flour. I always...

    My son has the same thing where it smells kind of chemically. I'm getting him tested through Enterolab, so we'll see if it comes back positive.
