    this is very interesting.unfortunately my doctor says everyone should only have meat a oouple times a week.

    i know meats are low. i was just referancing alkaline low sal foods because i am already acidic and meats are acidic. i don't want to get worse so i need to figure out some alkaline.

    My blood test showed above referance range anion gap. Also...unrelated to acidity i think...low lymphocytes and high monocytes.

    yeah. one thing that also worries me....my body is very acidic right now and it's hard to find much variety in alkaline low sal foods.

    I was eating beef in february and ended up turned off. was going to have some omaha steaks stuff but our order got flubbed then this ill feeling of not being able to eat hit me and so i haven't fixed up our order yet. i was concerned about my b12.

    i know it sounds like an allergy right? but my allergist claims the all natural ingredients can't be tested. but they are all very common. Lots of sals sensitive people have hives too so I'm trying to figure out what it was i might b allergic to so i can avoid it in the future. unfortunately the allergist s being no help. The reason why i decided to ask here...

    Okay so I had reason to think I might have a problem with sals. However benzoates like in my cleure toothpaste don't seem to bother me like they seem to bother most sal sensitive that I talked to. (Cleure is suppose to be sal free but apparently not completely...I've also seen avocado in their products. Apparently their focus is for ppl with fibromyalgia...

    My mono abs was one of the blood tests that showed up elevated for me. It has high next to it and it's bolded. I'm seeing my family doctor tomorrow about this but I was wondering...do I have this correct? Some write ups online seem to say this is a monocyte test and monocytes are typically involved in really bad infections? Bacterial..parasitic..or cancer...

    Wondering if anyone here has ever used this? We've used it a few times now and it seems to be really good. I like being able to test either 20 or 5 ppm. I have a question though for those who have used it....there are spigots that come with it to work with the drops for the test and there always seems to be too few of them for the 5 tests that come in the...

    Me and my husband are fans of Richard Matheson. Just re-watched both Somewhere in Time and What Dreams May Come late last week and I'm in the MIDDLE of reading the book of What Dreams May Come and enjoying it a lot. I was SO depressed to find out he died!!!

    I'll second this...I didn't know the ins and outs of celiac when I went gluten free and I wish I did know because though I have some signs of possible celiac..i really don't have an official diagnosis other than gluten intolerant. Looking back I wish I had because I certainly don't have the guts to gluten myself for an endoscopy now. I felt too horrible....

    Ah ok then I guess I was either glutened on something else irritated my bowels. I guess I can cross that out for now! Also wondering about SIBO...That's not the same thing right? Candida is a fungus correct? Not bacteria?

    Okay so I'm in the process of getting TONS of blood tests and now parasite testing as well. I'm curious about candida. What sort of test do you have to ask for? Will a normal GP test for it? Since last summer..AFTER going gluten free..I don't know if I got glutened or if it was the milk i was still drinking..or salicylates...WHATEVER..but lots of mucus came...

    Yeah I was not thrilled I couldn't talk to her till tomorrow. Sadly I may have reacted to something in her office. I itched and swelled up the morning I was there. Said no food or drink but someone walked in practically bathed in perfume. They also had air freshener...thought that was odd for an allergist office. She works for mt Sinai in nyc as well so I...

    I got the result over the phone and was told she'd call tomorrow. My husband is worried he'll cross contaminate stuff I also use for food and make the allergy worse. The allergy is to the protein and as we know...even though it's a different kind of reaction...proteins can stick around on utensils. We're also very lovable and he hates having to be worried...

    As for gluten my husband is intolerant as well. I thought I was simply intolerant to dairy. He kept drinking and eating it I didn't care.

    It's an allergy. He doesn't want to have it because he's worried about contamination. Just like people not being able to have stuff that touched gluten. I've read hive reactions can last up to six weeks (longer for some). No idea if an allergy can trigger that but it started right after using it. I'm allergic to milk, shrimp and cockroaches but that's all I know of. Hubby was drinking milk around me before we found out I was allergic late last week.     Yes the allergist gave me a prescription for an epipen before we even had my test results. Just in case. I'm on the lookout for dye free gluten free DAIRY free antihistamine right now lol
