    I use Immodium. The way it works is to slow the transit of food through the system--the gluten starts the reaction which sets off the uncomfortable symptoms and Immodium (or anything else, really) won't affect that once it's started.

    Just made a gluten-free pizza--been craving it all day--it's phinally in the oven. Made the sauce from scratch, remembered that I phorgot to get the mozzarella dang cheese and had to run to Kroger. Got home and made the dough using the usual 15 million ingredients. While the dough was rising, cleaned up the mixing bowl, beaters, measuring cups/spoons...

    Word...I have three really beautiphul ones--lacy, underwire--fit well but are just uncomfortable. Itchy mostly.... I'm sure you can all go about yer day now having heard that I'm punchy--today is Mark's last day at work here--the end of his 2 week notice. In the woids of Travis Tritt--it's all about to change.....

    Kharreign, If you want something simple, why not do gluten-free brownies? You can frost them and sprinkle nuts or something on top. Betty Crocker is good, Gluten Free Pantry is even better if you can find it. There are also tons of recipes for them on here in the cooking and baking phorum.
