  1. Wow I'm just overwhelmed with the kind responces. I stayed off off the computer this after noon and went to bed....The rest did me alot of good:) I'm going to print this thread and have it to refer to. There have been so many suggestions and all seem valid to me. I thought that going into my 18th week of being gluten-free I could start adding to...
  2. Jessica Boy I sure appreciate you guys out there. I was thinking that too. I see where no one else (that i'm aware of) has said this about that "K" product. Since we all seem so different and react to different things this makes sence. I might not just be able to have these and since they are just 'junk food' so to speak, anyway. No big deal. Interesting...
  3. Thanks Carie I'm thinking the same thing, even tho i hate the thought i hate to feel this way even more!!! I have given up milk & ice cream..still eating real butter which doesn't seem to bother me...but think it's the cheese...Does the land of lakes butter have casein in it? I had just started adding things like the bakery rolls, pizza etc the last...
  4. seems we are emailing at the same time...I do the same thing..eating the same things for days BECASUE IT'S SAFE. Had a Larabar's and lips felt puffy and warm and stretched (go figure) so am thinking there might be somethingt to this fructose thing... Hang in there today and be good to yourself. Last nite was tough for you to say the least. Judy in Philly
  5. Thanks Nini, Going to do the food journal and appreciate the responce...It is so frustrating .... I think also i realized last week that this was how i going to live for the 'rest of my life' and it kinda hit home.....I was so focused on 'feeling blessed to have an answer and dx' and was feeling so wonderful the first 2 months, now just seems the 'new sensitivities...
  6. Jessica BLESS YOU At least I'm not feeling so alone in all this 'muddle' I think your idea is so right on. It's what I was thinking and started doing last week. Keeping the food diary again...keep it simple...I was eating at regular times and not skipping breakfast...putting my celiac disease as the top piority in my lift BUT with the cleaning and planning...
  7. I'm sure hoping someone can help me. Getting complany for a week and I feel like i want to die. 9. Good News-- Some one out there cares about us. I rec'd 2 phone calls from them. I'd emailed them about my FREE Thanksgiving turkey from Acme. Was anxious about the 'injected' 8 ingredients. Dan, the rep, was so nice and has celiac disease himself. He eats this turkey and says it's very good. Of course we know not to eat the gravey. Didn't even know...
  10. Kimberly Thanks for your note. I hadn't noticed on the label that said i should freeze them. I ate one after 2 weeks in the refrig and yesterday it would have been over 3 weeks. Jenvan told me that maybe they were old. Did you freeze yours. She also asked if i had a problem with fruit sugar. Don't know about that. But both breads you talked about would...
  11. I was so excited to find this product. I had one roll a weekago Sunday with coffee and oj. About an hr after felt like my small intestine was on fire for about 3 hrs. Thought it was the acid in the oj. Today had a roll and coffee and in a hr my small intestine hurt and was crampy. I couldn't get on the K website. What in the world could be in the product...

  13. Claire thanks for the sites. Been on the Bert's Bees site and did a search on the forum for old postings. I bought Bert's Bees lip shimmer-watermelon in stead of lip balm. Does anyone know if this is gluten-free? I couldn't find a gluten-free list on their website did i over look it? Back was itching this am and husband said looked like hives so put some...
  14. from what i've read here everyone seems to say Dove is the best soap. I think i saw a list here somewhere. Maybe you can do a 'search' for dove soap and the list will apprear in some of the emails. If i find a list, i'll forward to you ok? Judy
  15. Thanks for the supportive words. It's been 17 weeks for me. The first month I was so much better that I knew it was a true 'miracle' I didn't have the fibromyalgia pain, didn't have the explosive D that I couldn't control. (that is 100% gone)..:)didn't even use my cane most days, so much energy and no brain fog...I think i was so focused on just my 'celiac...
  16. I just posted a responce and 'quoted' your previous post re: increased sensitivities since going gluten-free but looked like it was from me. I STILL DON'T HAVE THE HANG OF THESE RESPONCES....AND HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY. Sorry about the jerseyangel... Judy in Philly
  17. I found I was spending a lot on trying different things that weren"t agreeing with my increasingly sensitive skin (a lot more so since going gluten-free). **** I keep seeing on line that people's sensitivities to other foods and personal care products are causing them problems that were not there before going gluten-free. I know people have given their...
  18. I just got my order today. Only placed the order on line 2 days ago. Tried the body lotion and LOVE IT. Thanks for the info. Judy
  19. Thanks for all the info. Just ordered the lotion, shampo and conditioner. Can't wait to get it and try it. My hair is also dyed. During the last apt, ck'd the ingredients of the shampo and conditioner as my head was on fire...never happened before when they used the shampo....told them to stop and read me to ingredients, shampo had 4 wheat ingr and 3...

I could go and find the names of the products if you want me to and you can see if you can...
  22. what a fantastic idea! Saw where Donna Korn does alot of speaking and she would hit the kids too. She might be willing to get on the band wagon. I like the 'emailing' to Oprah down the alphabet... Count me in. Judy
  23. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  24. Okay - then this is what I'm going to do. Starting Monday (and each Monday after), I'm going to post on this thread to remind everyone that is it their week to e-mail Oprah. They just need to e-mail her that week, not a specific day - that's easy enough. I'm going to ask all those with last name begins with A, then next week B and so forth. I will post also...
