  1. I am still taking the probiotic twice a day. Really felt like it was part of what was helping until this started up. Yesterday felt like things were improving...hoping for the same today.
  2. It's actually been 4 months today. And I felt great during April...I thought I was getting pretty good at this gluten free thing. Until this hit.
  3. I completed the antibiotics in early February. Of course then on February 12th I had my gallbladder out and uterine polyps out. So...it's been quite a year already. I did start probiotics in February as well.
  4. Oh my...misery. I'm sorry. (((hugs))) Hoping you get to feeling better soon.
  5. What a nice surprise though! Love it. We have a gluten free restaurant where I live. My husband took me there for Mother's Day and it's so nice being able to order anything and relax and not explain. It was delish! On Monday I started a food diary to see if I can track anything specific. But at the time I'm really only eating chicken, rice, eggs...
  6. Right...and both times I had my 2 1/2 year old with me going, "Mama, is that your p u-ee...Gross."
  7. Oh yeah...h. pylori. So not fun. Especially because the 2 different antibiotics I had to be on made my D even worse. Ugh. Anyway...it has been eradicated. Had to provide a stool sample...twice...cause the first time they forgot to freeze it. For real. Thanks for the hugs and good wishes.
  8. Seriously...The hormones. My period has been horrendous since it started a month before I turned 12. It's frustrating too. I keep hoping that being gluten free will at some point help with that stuff.
  9. Hi coffngirl...I've read your recent struggles and we both seem to be going through something similar and frustrating. How exciting to find the baked goods...what did you get? Was it amazing? You're not in Colorado by chance are you? If so...I'd love to go see, smell and taste it all.
  10. Lisa...Thank you so much! Your words have helped me so much. (((Hugs)))) right back. Got teary eyed reading it because it's what I needed to hear. Thank you!!!
  11. I'm hoping some of the amazing people that responded to this thread initially are still following it...because I need help...something...encouragement...a hug? When I posted this initially I felt like I'd been glutened. I wasn't sure what got me. I had recently had a full month of feeling so good...and I miss it! So, starting April 30th I started feeling...
  12. It won't...you're right. I'm totally paying attention. Thanks for reminding me.
  13. I absolutely do hear you. I am not taking it to heart, but did wonder about it. Now, where's that red wine we were talking about?
  14. Sure...This is what I read. I mistyped 3 instead of 2 in the first part. Open Original Shared Link
  15. Thank you for sharing that. It's good to hear from someone who has been at this celiac thing for a while. I wonder if we will always have delicate digestive systems. It seems like a lot of people on here have sensitivities to other things as well. I read a study where only a third of people heal after 3 years and two-thirds after 5 years. Can that...
  16. I hear you. The blips send me into detective mode, analyzing everything I've consumed in the past few days. This blip has now lasted just over a week...ugh. The only things I noticed as something different were the almond flour and chocolate chips. But, I don't know that they glutened me. Maybe I'm just super sensitive to anything other than potatoes...
  17. First you all had me at Gelato and now you've really got me with wine!
  18. It is a beautiful place...the auroras are amazing. It's not hot...ever. The middle of summer, it is not hot in any way. I don't know where you live or what kind of weather you are used to but moving from there to here was a huge shock in the change in weather. I had never experienced 90 degree weather in my life.
  19. I'm so glad that this post helped you, it helped me so much too. I'll be your celiac bff!
  20. I'm from Iceland, but have lived in the States since I was 8. A lot of my family still lives there and I highly recommend a visit! I love a glass of red wine too...
  21. That's good to know...anywhere I go, gelato may jump into my shopping cart. Yum!
  22. I absolutely am...thank you!! The only thing I wish is that we were all sitting around drinking our coffee/tea and laughing over this together. I love that you all get where I'm coming from.
  23. That's so weird! I thought that only happened at my grocery store! Crazy to think that Jumping Gelato exists in other places! LOL! You've all given me a good laugh that I needed.
  24. Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. Hearing your stories helps me so much. Emotionally I feel so much better.
