  1. I'm not a doctor so I don't know I guess. It feels much more like everything I was feeling before going Gluten-Free. Even my lower left rib cage is sore again and that was going away.
  2. Thanks Cali. Ugh...it feels icky. And it's so disappointing after starting to feel better. I think I'm gonna have to blame it on the restaurant and it took me 2 1/2 days to feel it.
  3. It's been about 4 weeks. I feel like I've been so careful.
  4. I think I've been glutened...but I'm not sure. I've been feeling better daily until today. Had the big D after a week and a half without. Stomach cramping, achy joints, fuzzy head. Awful...tired...etc. I ate out for the first time on Saturday...felt fine then, Sunday and yesterday. Then today it's awful. Could it take this long? I've looked at everything...
  5. Thanks for all the info...great ideas. I bought a bunch of flours and I don't even know what to do with them. Millet...Quinoa...Coconut and potato starch. And all I ever use is the all purpose.
  6. Thanks for all the great ideas! I'm going to take a look at these today.
  7. I feel the same way. I'm exhausted at 9. I wish I wasn't...Hoping that will improve.
  8. Thank you so much for sharing that! I'm 3 weeks in and love hearing that kind of good news!
  9. I actually had my first day without D on Tuesday. Then yesterday I had surgery to remove my gallbladder and polyps from my uterus. So...we'll see how it goes. I was really excited on Tuesday. I'm sorry for the trouble you are having. Only being able to eat chicken and rice isn't fun. Do you think something else is going on?
  10. Thank you...that helps a lot. I really appreciate all of the support.
  11. Raven, thank you for your response. I have been eating mostly whole foods. And I'm lucky, my husband went gluten free with me. So. ..I really believe I'm not getting any gluten. I do notice an increasing in energy and decrease in headaches. The D is just getting so old. Maybe 2 weeks isn't enough and I need to give it more time. Did your GI issues...
  12. The problem is that it's every morning and I don't eat the same thing every night for sure. Hmmm...
  13. Thanks, Colleen. I've been hypothyroid since 2001. My Dr. checked all that just recently and it looked good. I am on a probiotic. To be honest...I'm not that patient...sigh. need to work on that. Do you remember how long after going gluten free you started to really feel better? For the big D to start getting better?
  14. I have purchased a new toaster, cutting board and wooden spoons. I do drink coffee in the morning...but the D starts as soon as I wake up. I went several times this morning before having coffee. I'm sure that patience is what I need more of. Expecting results in 2 weeks I'm sure isn't reasonable but I couldn't help hoping. Also...everyone around...
  15. Hello all... I'm 2 weeks gluten free now. I do notice I'm not as tired...yay! My initial feeling like I was starving to death hunger is gone too. But...Every morning. ..I get the big D...All morning pretty much. Then it's ok the rest of the day and the next day I start again. Is this normal? Has it taken anyone a while to get rid of this annoying...
  16. Thanks for that info. I went out and bought like 5 different flours plus xanthan gum. It was ridiculously expensive. I don't think I will do that again.
  17. I think the reason they want to remove the gallbladder is because it is full of polyps. It's crazy. I wonder if it's celiac. I've got a pre-op tomorrow and I'm going to ask. The uterine polyps the Dr wants to remove just the polyps, not the uterus itself. She likes to remove them if she finds them because occasionally they can become cancerous. I really...
  18. Thanks cyclinglady. It helps to know someone else has experienced it. This feels so lonely right now. My gall bladder and uterine polyps are not causing any trouble. They were "incidental" findings related to my pain. Did you have your gallbladder out? How did that go? I'm getting a bit anxious for my surgeries and my kids are really worried.
  19. That's exactly where it is. Front left and lower. Not pain like ow! But annoying.
  20. I've had 3 kids and have the polyps and have gallbladder ones too. Is this celiac related? You've been gluten free a few months. How are you feeling?
  21. I have had testing for all of that and the only things found were uterine polyps which are being removed next week and gallbladder polyps and that's coming out next week too. I guess I'm wondering if this could be the intestine and something with celiac. Hoping someone else has been there.
  22. One of the things that sent me to the doctor in search of answers was a constant pain on my left side in the lower ribs. It's there all the time. 13 days Gluten-Free and it's still there. I go to bed with a heating pad on it every night. Does or has anyone else had it? Is it related to celiac? Does it get better?
  23. I'm wondering the same thing. Maybe everything that's been wrong with me has always come down to this celiac thing and I didn't know it.
  24. That sounds scary. I'm sorry you are having a rough time. I just so want to feel better. How long until your G I stuff improved? I need to figure out if my prescriptions are Gluten-Free. They're all generics. Fun!
