When we flew direct to London from Ottawa it was five hours across the Atlantic. We left at ten pm, and landed at 8 am London time.. . quite bizarre, and a sleepless night for all of us. How long...

    I haven't seen that one before, but I have a big framed poster of a similar 1940's woman (or was it during the first World War? Could be either) standing in her rudimentary kitchen and in big letters around her it proclaims, "The kitchen is the key to victory -- Eat less bread!"     Ravenwood, You have moved me to tears. I'm thinking about you! There is no pain like this one - - the grief we feel when we lose a kindred spirit, so often found in a loving pet. I've been there three times, and will be there again as I will always have dogs and cats in my life. Big hugs.. . . .....and this, a poem that has appeared on this forum before...
