  1. YES! And it's scary isn't it????? There have been a couple of times where I get up during the night to go to the bathroom and as soon as I put any weight on my legs when I get up, I FALL! It probably looks funny but it is NOT FUNNY AT ALL! It's like I'll get paralized for a little bit..........I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who's had this...
  2. Hi, I have been 100% gluten free starting only Monday actually. I'm actually still in the process of being diagnosed. I just got blood tests done and sent in samples to enterolab; I'm waiting on results from everything, still. Anyway, I know I have a problem with gluten though because I have tried the gluten free diet before, and felt a lot better...
  3. I have been noticing mucos in my stool again (I know, gross) ...... and I don't remember....... is this a sign of malnutrition or could this be nothing at all?
  4. Hmmm......apple pancakes..... ...........I could give it a try........I love pancakes, and I love applesauce..... ........I'll try it! You know "I can't believe it's not butter" spray....? Well, that would be perfect if they just didn't have the casein it in? What does the casein do anyway? Can't they do without it for people like me (us)!
  5. Hi everyone! I have a question, but I have a feeling I already know the answer. Okay, so I am intolerant to casein as well as gluten, but I LOVE PANCAKES! Well, I got gluten-free pancake mix and dummy me forgot that pancakes include dairy! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any alternatives (that taste good) for making pancakes without any...
  6. Yes, I researched it online.......... I believe it is in this list: Open Original Shared Link This isn't the info. I found before, but I do KNOW that coffee-mate is gluten free, or is supposed to be anyway. Maybe call the information number if you're still unsure. Happy Thanksgiving!
  7. I can't quite answer your question but I will tell you, before I knew anything about gluten intolerance and celiac disease, and before I knew anything was seriously wrong with me, I had HUGE problems on the birth control (Yasmine to be exact)- I started out very moody, and the longer I was on it, the more into depression I fell. I asked NUMEROUS doctors about...
  8. I had more to say but I accidently clicked add reply!: Anyway, you really were lucky with this whole thing. I'm 21 years old and I've been having weird things happen to me my whole life, and starting in high school, symptoms got worse every year! But I was going to ask you; I just got my ANA results in the mail because my doc. finally sent them...
  9. wow! YOU WERE LUCKY WITH THE WHOLE FINDING OUT AND TESTING PROCESS!!!!!!!
  10. Well, I have another question because this morning I took out the wheat-dairy-gluten free waffles I just bought and they also said made in a factory that also processes wheat products...... But the waffles, all over the box, say GLUTEN-FREE! So I'm thinking they are made SPECIFICALLY for Celiacs.........so they are extra careful? What do you...
  11. That's so funny, and it reminds me of a lot of people I know, especially my MOM! Haha, are you from a Polish family? Or Italian? Or Greek? I'm from a huge Polish family, and that's just how they are! hahaha......and that reminds me so much of my Mom!!! I said that to my Mom once, I said why do you eat these foods that are bad for you when you know you shouldn...
  12. Wow! You know people who got the posative test and still wouldn't believe it? That's scary! Did you get the tests or was it a self-diagnosis for you riceguy? (I like your name by the way)....... It all doesn't really matter anymore. I'm glad I got the tests done, but I'm not stressing over them right now becuase the great thing about this is...
  13. HI-I just went through all of the testing because for one, I know FOR SURE that there isn't more going on; but after I went on the gluten challenge (where you eat gluten just for the testing purposes) after being almost 100% off of it for 3 months, that really gave me all the proof that I need. Ever since I went to eating "anything I wanted" from cookies...
  14. And I forgot to put a subject in my e-mail, but I e-mailed you nini!
  15. Thank you so much!!
  16. Thanks for your replys! I sent my enterolab in last Wednesday, that is, they picked it up Wednesday night after work. So I'm thinking I should get the results like the first week in December. Also, I had my blood tests this morning, so today is my first day GLUTEN-FREE. It feels good. I already have more energy and the gas and bloating are gone! ...
  17. Very true........I am starting gluten free again today actually, and staying that way, no matter what........but not only are the doctors laughing in my face, but I know my family are talking to one another about me and it's really an uncomfortable feeling. Don't get me wrong, we're close and they aren't rude to me or anything, but there is NO support and...
  18. I wasn't thinking it at all...but someone brought it up to me because I was wondering why my symptoms seem to come and go.......when I was "mostly" gluten free for a while I would get HUGE flare ups where I would feel like I had the flu, but it would happen every 4-6 weeks and then go away. My whole body aches, I can barley walk from the bed to the sofa ...
  19. Wow! You actually do have several symptoms I have! Maybe I should get tested for lyme...........except, I think I might have been (I will know in a few days, but someone also told me it is very likely to get a false negative with that test. Do you know anything about that? I actually have like EVERY symptom you have, except mine has been going on pretty...
  20. Hey you guys! I just went to the website for risotteria and noticed it's ON Bleecker Street.............I live on Bleecker Street! Broadway and Bleecker!! How funny.......I can just walk down my block to the West Village...........haha Anyway, I thought that was interesting because I just noticed it now........ Thanks for the website! -Danielle
  21. May I ask what your symptoms were for lyme disease? Someone brought that possible diagnosis to my attention the other day.......I'm still in the testing stages for gluten problems myself. -Dani
  22. Wow! I def. can relate to family not understanding you and not believing you. That is why I'm putting myself through all of this testing! Just to get a "positive" test to show EVERYONE I was right......... My family say they are scared because they don't want me to diagnose myself.....hahha........WELL THE DOCTORS AREN'T DOING IT! It's been not a year...
  23. I also want to add that I am having really bad back pains that come and go and I'm also having some abdominal pains........could that be part of a yeast infection or something more?
  24. Hi everybody.......well here we go being gross again lol, but I just got another yeast infection and it's my fourth in like the past 6 months! I also just finished a lot of testing and I am starting gluten free again today.........THANK GOD! Anyway, have any of you had this problem with reaccurent yeast infections? The back of the package said if this...
  25. Hi guys! Okay, let so December 9th at say 6-6:15? Will that work for you guys? I get out of work at 5:30 but on Fridays, I like to leave a little early, plus I'm already downtown so I'm not far. So I can make 6, but if anyone wants to change it for 6:30 that's fine with me too. I'm excited!! -Danielle
