  11. I remember that my toes were swollen. And I had a problem with one toe on my right foot a couple of years earlier, which they thought was gout at first, a fracture and then "some type of arthritis, possibly". Are you following a restricted (besides gluten) diet now? Liz

  14. Pelmini is very similar to perogy. You can make it with the same dough. I'm sorry I can't figure out how to post a link, but do a search for Pelmini or perogy and it will come up. Very simple dough.

    I've also heard that hiccups can be a sign of an acid/alkaline imbalance. I used to have hiccups all the time, and even "hics" once in a while without the whole thing. I started taking a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in water about 5 times a week and they pretty much went away. I know this sounds weird, but it worked for me. Liz

  19. I was diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis about 10 years ago. I am also gluten intolerant. You might want to check into the possibility that you have other food intolerances.   21. Don't precook them or add extra water. Just layer them like regular noodles. They'll be plenty moist already. They shouldn't be too hard to work with.   22. Nuts can just be plain hard to digest. As for peanuts and joint pain, they contain something called Arachodonic acid, which can cause or make worse inflammation. Peanuts also contain a lot of mold - even organic ones. They make lots of lists of "foods to never eat". Liz
