After my Dx i started to get this burning/acid churning going on in my stomach. I never had a problem before with acid or reflux...it all started after i went gluten-free, anyone have this problem too?!!? Im taking prilosec for it now which helps but I wonder why this happend in the first place....i thought it could be due to the diet, even my GI was baffeled... -

I am ruling out getting boars head from the deli part of the supermarket due to CC But Ive never gone down the path of pre packaged deli meats before, anyone have a brand they like? I like turkey, roast beef and cheese the most.

Yes they were the same type of skin test.... hmm never thought about the leaky gut thing. Im kind of confused as to how that would effect it, im reading what you wrote but im kinda confused

Hey Jen, Yes i live right outside of boston, about 15-20mins, i love it! I used to go to the cape almost every summer. we had a place in dennisport. Im going to yarmouth this summer too, i love it there! Well the good thing is ive never had any problems with yeast infections, and i did take a lot of antibiotics when i was younger i used to have strep throat... -
Pre-Dx,About a year and half ago I had a food allergy test done (skin test) and they found a slight reaction to clams and crabs...I have never had crabs before so I wouldnt know, but I used to eat clam chower with no ill effects. So i avoided it, including shrimp, because i thought i had a reaction once, but i dont know if it was a gluten reaction cause...

Im about 15mins west of Boston....let me tell you, everywhere i turn here there is another supermarket that has gluten-free food. There are no shortage of that here There is a support group, The healthyvilli, i believe their web site is www.healthyvilli.com I have been and they are really great, I think they had a couple hundred people there last time...

No i totally understand what your saying, Flying Gluten, lol No need to apoligize, it was funny, i can understand what ur saying....but we already have so many limitations, that its hard not to be able to go to grab a coffee, even if it is a Flying Donuts place.

I dont fit ur typical light skinned with the family background being irish/english/european Celiac. My family is from the middle east, and i have olive skin, i have the green eyes however, and the longggg lashes, and of course the mosquitos LOVE me! I always used to get teased that I had sweet blood thats why they liked me. I used to come home sometimes...

R U sure that the lattes are too....I called them last year and the guy told me on the phone on the plain coffees were (with flavoring) Not the lattes...

I have super long lashes too, not so much thickness wise though. No one in my immediate family has them though, my dad had nice ones for a guy. I wear contacts to avoid the whole glasses thing . I wear the glasses only while im home....And i buy the oversized sunglasses so it doesnt bother my lashes, cause i have super sensitive eyes. But hey Ill... -

Ive been contacting a few companies about medicine, since my sinuses decided to go haywire on me. Well when i contacted Benadryl and Sudafed, they give me the repsonse of we dont add gluten ingredients but the final product is not tested....i know its most likely a CYA, But would you still take these?? -

I have been gluten-free for about 3 months, my last cycle was 2 weeks late, I have never been on the pill however. But I can comment on the amount of stress associated with changing ur lifestyle and the emotional rollercoster ive been on because of it has a lot to do with it. Also the diet itself isnt giving my body the same amount of nutrients i was getting... -
