ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!
Green12 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Ok thanks Soft Bronzer is going into my cart. The Natural Reflections is what you said gave a nice blended in bronzer effect, right? What again is the number of blushes you DO have Donna?? And out of all those blushes you only like 2? Pink Ribbon and Nick Nack, is that correct? It's not really that... -
This sounds really good moldlady, thanks for posting it! Paula, I get way too fatigued without some starches. Try adding brown rice or the rice pasta other suggested before in place of the potato. Just small amounts though. Donna, I thought that was the whole point of the Magic Bullet, powerful and indestructible??

ARCHIVED Gluten Free Panini Suggestions
Green12 replied to disneyfan's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I have had such good luck using Whole Foods gluten-free Bakehouse breads for paninis, kind of pricey for a loaf but they really hold up and make a good sandwich imo. My gluten eating family loves them too. There are a few things you have to do to prep: The bread is kept in the frozen section so thaw it out completely. Then I found if I put the... -

Yeah Donna, I would have to agree that this is something you should have checked out, just to rule things out and put your mind at ease. I know nothing about insurance and such, but I am hoping Carla's thoughts on going in for a normal appt. will work in this case. I have always had lumpy cystic breast tissue, but I only get pain at ovulation and... -
I'll keep you in my thoughts, hope all goes well with your appt on Friday

I have lunchmeat sometimes in a pinch, but most of the time I cook a bunch of meat up ahead of time, slice it into strips and freeze in single servings. Whole Foods and Wild Oats has nitrate, gluten, and sugar free turkey and chicken. When I do get it I ask them to clean the slicer.

Mine would have to be anything from the land of dairy, cheese, cheese, and more cheese, ice cream, cream!!! Dogs, cats, and laptops make perfect heating pads. Sadly, no. Well, maybe for fireworks. I have a couple neighbor boys who are 20, 21. I don't know how many times I am awakened... -
ARCHIVED Gluten-free Bar Suggestions, Please?
Green12 replied to Ridgewalker's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
You're not kidding! We had to have a Bumble Bar intervention last year with Donna I was going to say Cliff Bars, but they've already been mentioned. I have to agree sometimes a different flavor makes a difference with the Lara Bars. I personally only like certain flavors like Lemon, Key Lime Pie, and the Chocolate Mint. -

Can you tell him not to smoke it in the house or around you, that it isn't good for you when you are trying to heal?? Some of us on the forum have had really good luck with Everyday Minerals, I don't react to it like I did Bare Minerals. -

Yes, very much so April. More so in the last 5-7 years from me, when my health has really declined rapidly. I have often thought if I feel like this in my younger years, what is it going to be like when the natural aging processes really kick in in the 50s, 60s, and 70s?!?! -

According to the website: "Chalky? If your foundation gives you a chalky appearance, it is too light for your skin. To correct this, simply blend it with a darker shade of mineral foundation until you have just the right shade." And for Susan this probably apllied: "Fine Lines? If fine lines are accentuated, your foundation is too dark for your... -

This does sound good Patti! I LOVE cheese fries but I try to make them a little more upscale with different cheeses (when I was eating dairy of course ) like smoked gouda. I would have to use turkey bacon though, trying to make it a little healthier. Oh who am I kidding, it's still heart attack on a plate! -

If you have a Wild Oats near you they have a free Bulk Food Guide that is really helpful to have on hand. It gives info about the items that are sold in the bulk department, grains, flours, legumes, etc and tips and instructions on how to cook them. Millet is included in the guide. It can be made as a cereal/porridge, a side grain pilaf type dish,... -
