Sorry you had to experience that. I had a terrible ER experience myself over the summer. The Dr treated me horribly as well, terrible bed side manner. He didn't believe what I was going through and all but accused me of faking an anaphylactic reaction and severe all-over body swelling to get an Epi pen prescription to get a high off of. I was there...

April and Rpm, I still haven't heard back any info about ART referrals, as soon as I do I will let you know. Bummer. We all slip up once in a while, we're human. Can you take charcoal for the unpleasant symptoms? Just get back on track tomorrow. Speaking of charcoal, I am in love. Ode to charcoal Omgosh, I wish I... -

Joni Yes, "mixing bowls" have a different meaning in the life of an EM cult member, they aren't for the kitchen anymore!! Like I sadi EM is changing lives I haven't gone that far myself, still in the yoga pants, workout wear and jeans, but at least my face is sparkly -

Heinous indeed. They are not very friendly, keep to themselves type. The type that get into their car IN the garage, then open the door, drive quickly out and away, like they can't be seen. The news papers stack up in the driveway all week. They never shovel the driveway or walk. When I say hi it's like they didn't hear me. You know, the really... -

Yes, you might want to rethink that. You don't want to have an EM induced heart attack on your hands! And besides, "tarting it up" is reserved for Tuesdays remember Cute Paula, it could be our cult mascot.....but somehow I am thinking Richard made up as Amy Winehouse would be a more fitting mascot for this crew ... -

Rpm, ART is an alternative healing modality, so it's not a surprise you got that response from the hospital. I am working on getting some more info for you, but in the meantime I am wondering if you could email somebody on that referral list at neuraltherapy and ask for a feferral for your local area? just a thought. -

I'm glad your daughter is ok Emily Ok, this is not a silly but I feel terribly sad for the dog who lives across the street. He is a very elderly Irish Setter or a Golden Retriever (not really up on my dog breeds) and the owners just let him out the front door to go out. They never walk him, never are with him and they leave him out for long... -

Now that I am not sure about. I am also looking forward to seeing the new website layout. Sounds like there will be new swatches which will give a better idea of what each color looks like, and more models modeling the make up. I think this will be helpful when choosing colors Good plan! Congrats on winning the... -
ARCHIVED Problems With Corn Chips
Green12 replied to Mr. Pep'r's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I remember previous posts from other forum members who said they reacted to this brand of chip, Garden of Eatin. Garden of Eatin is not a dedicated facility, they make a couple of corn chips that have gluten ingredients in them (I also noticed they are making a new pita chip) and use shared production lines. It could very well be a case of cc for you... -

Well, I did a lot of adrenal stuff and took progesterone and a bunch of other things I am totally drawing a blank on I am sure there are a lot of different theories about what is going on, and it is different for everyone. OMgosh, I watched some of this show, but I must have missed the part where they were talking about gluten and grain intolerance. My thinking with Oprah is that she is so indoctrinated with her trainer Bob Green's philosophies (eating a well rounded diet with whole grains and good carbs) that when it comes to diet/eating plans she tunes a lot of that out...

Oh Susan, I am sorry to hear it doesn't work for you I am bummed too, I want everyone to have good luck with it. I don't know if this makes any difference, but some of the other ladies have mentioned that the formulation of the foundation makes a difference with fine lines and creases (i.e. intensive, semi matte, matte, glo). -

Kass, yes, I also use all gluten-free body products, cosmetics, toiletries, etc. It does seem overwhelming to change it all out, especially when you are so sick and don't have a lot of energy, but once you get everything and start using it it really does become routine. Now I don't even give it a second thought. Good to see you Rachel... -

I take a liquid Vitamin D supplement, I can't recall the brand but I will check on that and get back to you. I also take Cod liver oil, which is rich in vitamin D. The foods with the highest amounts of naturally ocurring Vit D are fish and eggs. It is also good to get 5-15 minutes of sun exposure (without sun screen) like Violet mentioned
