  1. Thanks for all the tips Mango. I think you are right about the finishes, I just found this: Open Original Shared Link This information answers a lot of questions I had, and gives great suggestions for achieving your personal flawless finish I don't know how I missed this before!
  2. Oh Susie I am so sorry, your beautiful sweet lovely girl. I share your sadness, and your pain, and your heavy heart. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Lots of to you!
  3. Nyxie, I am sorry the potato starch didn't work out for you. I have been making my gravy with it for the last two Thanksgivings and winter seasons after Patti suggested it, and it has always worked out well for me. I was using rice flour before the potato starch and I didn't like the flavor or the graininess that it had. I guess it comes...
  4. You can find rice protein, hemp seed, or whey protein powders free of gluten other ingredients you need to stay away from at the health food store to make smoothies with. Just read labels and check ingredients. Erewhon has a hot cream of rice type cereal, it's super fast and easy to cook. I usually top it off with some nut butter (i.e. almond) and fruit...
  5. Welcome back Bev, I hope your appt went well Hi Judy, good to see you participating in the sillies!! Have you started your gardening yet? Sarah mentioned about getting started a while back. This gardening is such a mystery to me, secret rituals and such. But I want in on it Amanda, glad you are feeling better! ...
  6. This sounds interesting, maybe this person will have some additional things to say about your case? I got my hair taken yesterday for hair analysis. I had it done in like 1994 and just a small piece of hair was cut from the nape of the neck for that one. Yesterday, she just kept cutting and cutting and cutting strands for the sample she was...
  7. Nyxie, I also have a sauna, it's an ifrared sauna from Healthmate. Charlie, Thanks for the update on yourself and your sister. It's good to hear you are making some progress and that her procedure went well . Rachel, WOW! Considering where you were last year at this time, or even a handful of months ago this is an amazing...
  8. Yesterday I tried a semi-matte, not sure if I noticed any difference between it and the intensive. Does anyone think it's a more drying formulation?? It could just be my skin and what is going on with it now, but I thought I would ask if anyone else had this feeling when wearing it. As far as coverage it was as excellent as the intensive for me. ...
  9. Well Susie according to the Redneck pickup lines you must be in love because you couldn't hold it in Hope you feel better!
  10. Hi catesfolly, Good news you are feeling better with the lessening of your symptoms, glad you gave the charcoal a try and that it made a difference for you!
  11. Hi Joni, I LOVE it. Best Friends is a very nice blush color, no hints of orange whatsoever. The natural lip balm by itself looks a little light on me by itself, but have you guys ever noticed how the makeup changes as the day goes on, not necessarily changes color, but just sets in more, or something..... I do need more brushes, lots and lots...
  12. Happy weekending EM bunch! I feel like a mad scientist, or maybe it's Jackson Pollock with all the color Sunlight yellow under the eyes, Mint all over followed by Pink....bwah, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!!
  13. Hi everyone, I'm jumping in kind of late in this thread . so this is probably redundant. I have had lots of experience following an anti-candida way of eating over a several year period, and it is so true there is so much conflicting info about what is safe to eat and what is not I'm not doing a candida diet per se, but I want to get sugar...
  14. Cute avatar Peter! Weren't those redneck pickup lines a scream?!?!? Janet your post about how to give a cat a pill had me giggling. Alex, you are not a loser! I do the same thing and I am 35 Unless that makes us both losers...... Sarah, welcome back! So sorry you have been so sick. Good news about Ezra Susie...
  15. More fun orders. Colleen I want those mixing bowls and Joni I have had my eye on that Siesta lip color so I am looking forward to both of your reviews!! I agree with Mango getting some kind of special discount for starting up this cult and generating lots of sales for EM. Or honorable mention on the website, or daily confetti thrown on her everytime...
  16. This thought makes me want to hurl Must look for more sanitary conditions to deposit my river of wee. That will put her in her place!! And her nickers in a twist!
  17. Fabulous order Mango I want to hear how you like the Samba Lessons, I've been eyeing that. I forgot to mention "New Car Smell" turns me off too, given that the actual smell of a new car makes me terribly ill with all the chemical odors.
  18. Hi Jin, I'm not doing any detox presently. I am just using the charcoal during my angioedema outbreaks with the idea it is binding to the toxins that are being released. The information I have about acupuncture is just what I have learned over the last 14 yrs of getting treatments. I have seen all the body charts in the office, but I tried to look...
  19. River of WEE Well that started my day off with a hoot and a holler Amanda, I would IGNORE the rude. Don't absorb her nasty energy, and remember it is her stuff. It's not you.
  20. Hi Susan, I hope you like EM! I also used BE/BM and I'm always hesitant to try something new, especially make-up because I don't have much luck finding a foundation color that works for me, but in my first sample kit I found the perfect match! And I LOVE the fact that this line doesn't have talc in it. Let us know how it turns out for you...
  21. Sherry, Could the long term antibiotic use be the cause of your elevated liver enzymes?? I don't take meds, but have elevated liver enzymes. I was tested in June, then again in Nov. They increased over the 5 month period. I have been reading a lot about yeast and Canada really congesting the liver. And I know that antibiotics, especially...
  22. Just wanted to add that Fire Bowl Cafe has a gluten-free menu. It's relatively new, located in Englewood. I think there are plans to open more locations in CO. There aren't many items to choose from, but some. Unfortunately they bread all of their chicken so it looks like the options are all vegetarian. Also, gluten-free items are obviously...
  23. You were right Jestgar, they were just watching us sweat it out a little Colleen, thanks for being on top of things! It seems the rest of the EM bunch cracked under all the pressure, the days and days and days of waiting, carefully selecting all of their kits, colors, and accesories, and then NO announcement early in the day ...
