Green12 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Hi EM bunch! I am so far behind on all the posts, have to go back and get all caught up. Kass, I would suggest you get a kabuki brush. I am sure Bloomingdales has lots of great brands to choose from. I use the Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals kabuki brush. A kabuki brush is esential (imo) for buffing the mineral makeups in to the the skin and... -

I had it in my esophagus and throat again this time around and I hate that, it's so scary. I keep my epipen close and pray that it doesn't close up, I don't want to go to the ER!! Anyway, I have... -

This is the kind of enema bags I used. They were very easy to work with, fill, administer, empty, clean, etc. I got them in bulk at medical supply type stores. Also about the laxatives, just fyi (i.e. senna) a lot of things like this are only meant to be used short term or ocasionally so that you don't become dependent on them. I made... -

Hello EM bunch! Donna, glad you are liking everything in your order and all the experimenting! Did he look at you like, "mom has lost it" Hmm, I might have to rethink purchasing this then. I have lavendar oil and I usually put it in mousturizer, so it would probably have the same effect? I... -

Donna, I tried your method of making a roux with the apple pectin this morning and it didn't work out so great for me so I'm going to have to experiment more on how to get this stuff down I'm... -
I haven't used ghee a lot, but I got this cook book a few years back and many of the recipes used ghee so I tried it out. I mostly sauteed garlic, onions, and herbs/spices with the ghee, like 1 or 2 tsp used as you would regular butter or olive oil- as the recipes usually started out with this method (i.e. soups or grain dishes) Also I used it in...

Glad you LOVE the Morocco Jestgar, I'm excited to try it! It might have been me who mentioned the mini eyeshadow kit, but I don't want a curse on me, take it back. Take it back!!! Laura, Black mascara is a little too harsh for my coloring so that is why I use Brown. Let me know what you think if you try out the green, FYI I ordered... -

Donna hope this works out well for you Are you noticing any difference with the addition of the B12 in your protocol? I meant to mention before about the band aid reaction, this happens to me too! Even the hypo-allergenic tape I react too, it's crazy. I don't so much itch though, I just get really red raised patches around where it has been... -

I'm not caught up on reading but just wanted to also say "Hey!" I hope everyone is having a good start to the New Year! April, I found plain apple pectin powder. I was curious as to how much you take of it? My bottle says 1/4 tsp as a dosage. Also it's hard to mix, I've only taken it once but it just globbed up when I added it to the liquid... -

Happy New Year to all the EM bunch! That's exciting to hear they are working on a mascara too . Sherry, I have been using the skin care line from Earth Science for quite some time now. Just to add to this, from what I researched it's also important to eat small amounts of grains (when, or even if, you are going to eat them) and never overeat them. I am fine with 1/2 cup of brown rice for example, but if I eat more than that at a time I get symptoms. There are many schools of thought as to what you can/can't eat on these diets... -

Great scientificness Rachel. So happy to hear an update from you, I'm glad you are feeling well and plugging along with your treatments pretty darn smoothly. I think also that some reactions can be synergistic, so the processed grains for me (flours) cause problems and then throw sugar in there with them and it's a MAJOR bloat fest ...
