  1. She was a young mommy....Carla too. By the time I'm 57 my daughter will only be 24. If anyone need to be in a Heinz club, it's me. My dad was a little of a lot of different races. I've always heard of Heinz in that respect, a hodgepodge so to speak. The projects were this last week. I have been working on things during Seth's nap and Talitha...
  2. Hugs back at you.
  3. My family doesn't mind it but I think the cinnamon crunch is the better of the three.
  4. Thanks for linking that Charlie. Looks like a pretty good site.
  5. That tells me Manteca is growing. I was wondering that too. I fourth or fifth this. That's just over 2 weeks away! I hope we don't have to wait that long. Can't wait to hear about that either. Yay on getting your spreadsheet done. If you and Rachel could eat more foods it would have been fun to meet up at...
  6. He's still cute but it seems they lose some of that cuteness as they get older. He'll be 18 months tomorrow. Your pic is a wedding pic isn't it? Are you going to call this wednesday to see if you results are in or wait until next wednesday? Didn't you say wednesday was the day you could call your doctor.
  7. I would assume so with the hidden msg status. I have read that msg causes weight gain.
  8. I'm not laughing at you, just your word choice. I'm laughing with you. Hope you have a good day and give that growing, black, wriggly, furry monster a hug for me. Well, I did fine on the 1/16 tsp dose so I'll stay at that for a few days and increase back to the 1/8 tsp around midweek. Not that I look forward to drinking this stuff everyday...
  9. Myself and my daughter tested at 14, oldest son at 10.5 and he had low malabsorption, and my husband was negative at 4. My youngest was too young to be tested. I could have had the blood test done but I had been very gluten lite for 1 1/2 months due to intolerance (ELISA) testing, so I opted for enterolab.
  10. Hope all goes well and I can't wait for an update. You two have fun eating pizza. You just never know what turns your life is going to take do you? I always enjoy reading your posts (along with everyone else's) and appreciate the time everyone takes posting.
  11. My husband tested negative although he has two celiac genes. Love the picture of your cat.
  12. Now that is interesting. I wonder why.
  13. Glad you got a chance to go through all of that with Anna. I'll be curious to see which direction your treatments go from here. Sounds like a good day for you aside from the energy level. Have fun creating your spreadsheet. I'll have to try and keep this in mind if I ever have any money.......and that won't be anytime real soon. Mitch...
  14. 2 tsp! 1/2 tsp of the stuff I bought is something around 350 (whatever the measurement is ) I love your new photo too Patti. I'm thinking she's the one with the darker hair. Boy! Lots of info in you last few posts on this page......I'm still 2 pages behind. We were eating tons of whole wheat.....I ground my own flour. Of course we...
  15. I am also one that doesn't believe enterolab is a scam. I had my family tested through them. We didn't have obvious symptoms, but I had tested IgG intolerant to a lot of gluten foods. I figure we were at the beginning of damage. I didn't have the blood test done as I had been very gluten lite for 1 1/2 months and felt that the test would have been negative...
  16. Ok, I just took some. Icky, icky, icky!!! Mitch gave me about half of an 1/8th of a teaspoon.
  17. Thanks Donna. I just read more on Mercola's site and he recommends taking it with meals, so right before should be good.
  18. I copied this over from mercola's site. I believe I am more of the protein type, but somewhat mixed. Talitha was burping the whole day we had this last so I won't be giving her anymore. I'll try taking less than 1/8 tsp and see how I feel.
  19. We are in sw wa also. It's 3.43 here at chevron.
  20. I figure I need to give chlorella a chance before I try anything with the anti-candida diet. I don't want to kill off candida and have mercury running around. Does it matter if you take chlorella with or without food? Rachel, you said it takes a couple weeks to get used to I think. I'll try and give it a couple weeks. I don't really like the nauseous...
  21. Carageenan is a hidden source of msg and soymilk causes a lot of people a lot of problems. It could be either causing you distress That's right you two are the chefs so we'll always have our salt.....not too much though. The cranio sacral sounds very relaxing. Glad you got so much out of it and a nap to boot.
  22. I remember you talking about salt. We use redmund too. Himilayan is too expensive for us. Codex laws.... Why would they control stuff like salt?!?!?!?! The vitamins we take are chewable so have lost of sweetener stuff in them.....not outright sugar though. I'm thinking I need to go back to the swallowable pills. Doesn't help the children though...
  23. The stainless steel bowl and attachments should be fine after a thorough cleaning. I have a Bosch mixer that has a plastic type bowl and I cleaned it and it is just fine. It wasn't scratched up though. As far as I know fresh meats are safe. That's what I've read elsewhere anyway. Prepackaged stuff like turkey or chicken may have maltodextrin or other...
