I'm glad you came to this thread and went ahead with testing too. Will be waiting for your other questions. Not that I'll be able to answer anything. -

So glad to hear how thing are going. Must be quite hectic learning everything. I'm happy you did to. I LOVE frosting!!! What about just buying a skillet (stainless steel or iron) and a 4 quart pan. Those would get you started. You can only do what you can do though and I understand the financial pinch. I'm with... -

I just worry about them not using Igenex. As you know, they are the reliable lab. I'd hate for them to use someone else and you not get the real results. -

I used it as an early diagnosis since we all have celiac genes. I don't know if mercury or pregnancies tipped the scales to me reacting to gluten though. Judy, They won't be able to do a blood draw on Friday. For Igenex it needs to be done earlier in the week, Mon-Wed I think. Did you order the Igenex paperwork? -

Bev, I'm glad you've got an answer! Please post your numbers when you get them. You will get better. Don't know if you've had amalgams or have to worry about mercury exposure, but this is a huge piece of the puzzle. Co-infections may very well be the last piece. You will regain your health! I'm so glad you decided to pursue testing. ... -

Thanks Mia. We are doing better today. Have you uped your diflucan? Has that made you feel worse. Do any of us here have your number? I know when Rachel "disappeared" for those two days last summer many of us exchanged numbers. With as ill as some of you are I'd feel better if at least one person on this thread had another person's number. ... -
Angie, Please, please, please take it easy and make sure you drink lots of water. I hope your husband will pull through the stress withdrawal he's going through soon.

I've just started venturing out again after totally avoiding it for the last 3-5 months. I don't like controversy. You always make valid, though provoking posts and I think most people see it that way. As far as the teflon..... I knew it was bad but didn't realize it got so hot. I was told to never cook with it over a medium heat. ... -
I'm sorry Angie. Spotting is scary. I actually started bleeding with my first one but it was near the end of the pregnancy. The doctor just ordered me to couch potato status. My second one I was spotting early (like 5-8 weeks) but everything turned out fine and the spotting did stop. I wouldn't worry too much unless it continues through tomorrow...

How 'bout if I don't clean the house. Don't do much of that anyway. When it's nice I prefer to tackle the weed hill. The weed hill covers an semi above ground septic I think. The tanks are under ground but something is above ground. It's just one mass of weeds on three hills......horsetail or snake grass....whatever you want to call it. That stuff... -

I've started adding some coconut flour in and that takes care of the crumbs. It is a denser loaf though. -

Heard of them.....they are very bad. Hoping I don't have any problems because I really don't have the money to pursue it. Although, the dentist I'll be seeing will probably tell me what needs to be done and what is the priority. This program is advanced which is why I spread it out so much. She got her work done all on her own. If I go through... -

Thanks Mango. I did the test for her and came up with 9. Patti......14! Ok, so now the next question. What makes a person highly sensitive and what do you do about it? I didn't read through the site.....more a question I don't expect anyone to answer. -

Thanks Patti. She is emotionally very immature. I think that letting her work at her own pace is best for now and she's not required to be in school until this next school term (it's 8 out here). We'll be notifying the school in August of our intent to homeschool. She's been difficult for the last 3 years. She's very sensitive, both emotionally... -

Thanks Donna. As far as hair analysis I thought that if you had low levels in your hair that you weren't excreting it. I am looking forward to your ART session in a couple weeks. Jin, I hear you with financial woes. We are going through them as well. Our food budget isn't even at the old level for a family a four, let alone the current... -

My doctor believes that I have problems with mercury. Just gotta get the amalgams removed and then get money for a metal challenge test. I really, really think mercury is Talitha's problem too. I hope so anyway. I am having a very hard time dealing with her. She's so moody etc. Mitch mentioned ADHD as a possibility for her. I know she wasn't like this... -

Well stated Nancy. I also agree with the fact that gluten intolerance is to be taken seriously, and also that the discovery of genes isn't necessarily complete. I also agree that if symptoms don't totally resolve after some time (and that's different with everyone), or if new symptoms appear that further testing should be pursued.
