  1. Laura, I hear you. It is nice to know what to do for what and with so many of these things this thread has talked about, it's hard. There are so many variables. I can understand the mixed feelings as well. Is your doctor going to do another test after a short antibiotic course or just continue with treatments? Sorry about your reaction today...
  2. Mia, Are you done with your antibiotics? Have you had another test done? What's up with you?
  3. It's his monthly retirement check and works the same as social security. The government gets back the money that wasn't used, it's prorated. Maybe she'll send up a personal check so we can still keep it though. I'm doing better today and the weekend is almost here.
  4. I makes 1 loaf so I would say 1 lb. It fits in a 9 x 5 or 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 pan. I think someone has used an 11 x 4 also.
  5. Hathor, I had allergy/intolerance done by US Bioteks (through a doctor that I was referred to) and then did enterolab about 3 months later after being very gluten lite for about 2 months. For my allergy intolerance I scored moderate on whole wheat, spelt and wheat gluten; low on rye and wheat gliadin. Enterolab was a 14. Allergy intolerance for...
  6. Steve, Hugs. You did everything you could and then some. It always pays to do good even if it isn't appreciated. I'm sorry you had to deal with all that, the electricity, unbelievable!
  7. Steve, I'm glad you are home safe and sound. You went the extra mile for your mother. I'm sorry she was irrate (gluten withdrawal) and glad she threw out the codex stuff. Hopefully she'll keep it out.
  8. Rachel, Reading right along. Don't have much to say. I'm going through another hurt phase. Tracked down insurance today, very small policy according to mom but left to his wife. I don't really have a problem with that, I just told mom it would have been nice to get something no matter how small. He was going to give us the rest of his retirement...
  9. I'm sure I would be too. Love and hugs.
  10. When you are replying you'll see the emoticons to the left. On top of that box it says Show All. It will then bring up a separate window with all of them.
  11. I think I'd get tired of swallowing those every day.
  12. Here is a short list of independent risk factors, which can either cause accumulation of metals in an otherwise healthy body
  13. I just noticed you put up a new avatar. I like it. The thing that clued me in is you and hubby were looking a big squished and blurry.
  14. I know you didn't. I just like to cover all the bases of what you guys have talked about to see if it might apply to us. I went through this thinking with lyme a few months ago. I just seems that for a lot of people, genetics must play a big part.
  15. I like them broken up for a reference point when I get interupted, which is frequently.
  16. I don't know the answer to that either. We all do have a celiac gene. Micah and hubby have 2, don't know about Seth and Talitha and I have 1. Micah has very little intolerances, so I'm clueless. I wasn't tested for candida although I could have been with the allergy testing. I don't really think my amalgams are causing me much of a problem and I...
  17. I would think all greens would be a problem. I'm suspecting metals with our sensitivities. I really want to get bioSET testing done but we maxed out our credit cards with everything last year and now our funds our maxed out paying on them. We'll have to see if this autumn we can work anything in although things will still be extremely tight. Hubby...
  18. I hear you loud and clear. That cruise sounds good though.
  19. Carla, I'm glad you are able to stay home. The bar in your mouth doesn't sound to comfortable. I made mac and cheese last night with our typical cashew cheese sauce and Talitha's tummy started hurting pretty quick. I was hoping we could have it once in awhile if she wasn't on any other nuts. Trying to get her to start probiotics but she...
  20. I don't know. Talitha was playing Oregon Trail 5 and it took her almost 3 hours. I told her that's the last time she plays a whole game through in one sitting.
  21. Thanks for the update Laura. I've been wondering how you were doing. What is RMSF? Keep us posted on how the IV goes. We are here for your support as well, if you need it.
  22. Mine lasts six months.
  23. I know the guy we bought stuff from doesn't sell anything like that. I had mentioned the kids and baths. I would assume no because bath spouts are all different sizes. For Seth's baths I just use the showerhead to fill up his tub. Could you do that with your baths?
  24. Liz, I've been given a name and will get the number next month of a dentist in the southern midwest area that has real reasonable rates for amalgam removal and is a toxic free dentist. If you are interested in having it done and are willing to fly to have it done pm me and I'll get the info to you when I have it.
