  1. Good to see you Rinne! I do wonder how you are doing a lot. We are always here when you need us and can communicate. Good to hear that your doctor has seen some improvement. Glad your massage helped with the stairs. Now I have to wonder aside from the h pylori being taken care of by the doctor, has bioset been behind your...
  2. Sorry. I just looked at the booklet I have from US Biotek that lists foods by family. It says that millet have small amounts of gluten, but virtually no gliaden. I know I can't eat much of it and have started avoiding it. It's an individual thing that individual people need to try to see if they are ok with it. The following was copied...
  3. That is really sad , but thanks for sharing it. I don't think it's been posted before.
  4. That's ok....you search out all this stuff for us so we don't have to go crosseyed.
  5. Glad your vit c went well. Hope you do ok with the omnicef. Keep us posted as you can please. That's always my request for everyone.
  6. Millet is high in gliadin so some people with celiac are still sensitive to it.
  7. Hugs Stephanie. I'm not super sensitive but my mom's glutened me a couple times. She did real good last time I was at her place for a meal though. It's hard to understand how sick cc can make someone, let alone the disease itself if you don't have it or haven't taken the initiative and time to learn about it. Hope your day today is better...
  8. Carla, I don't know. Did you have any energy before you started the last two new meds?
  9. :lol Carla, Just read your post after this one.
  10. Carla and Donna
  11. That would kind of pull all this together wouldn't it? Do you need to continue the allergy shots? Is this something bioSET can work with? Thanks Donna. Carla, Was that bloodwork you had done to determine your mercury level?
  12. Can I jump in here with a question? My daughter is slightly intolerant to garlic. How would you go about fixing "greens" (collard, kale etc) withough garlic? Collard greens are particularly tasty with garlic and that is the only recipe I have of it. My children will actually eat it that way.
  13. As long as you wash your hand thoroughly and surfaces you should be ok fixing your chilren's gluten food. Fresh flour could cause a problem though as the "dust" gets in the air. You do need to watch your makeup and personal care products simply because if you scratch, run you hand through your hair and handle food, etc before washing your hands you could...
  14. Ouch! I hope those heating pads help you. Are you still going to physical therapy? Can that help? Oops about bioSet. Did you make some more appointments?
  15. Keep us posted if you will. Love your name.....my oldest son is named Micah.
  16. I'm sorry. I had to put one of my cats down years ago. She had liver cancer and was only around 4 or 5 years old. They told me to bring her in when I was ready. Well, I wasn't ready but I couldn't make her suffer anymore. I wasn't there for it though. Hugs. It's hard to lose a loved one, non furry and furry alike.
  17. The procedure would be the biopsy. You'll find a lot of varied opinions on that. It is the only recognized way to diagnose celiac (by the majority). Some will take positive results from the diet change as proof. Whether you get the scope depends on whether you want an official diagnosis. Will an official diagnosis make it easier to stick with the diet...
  18. I totally agree with this. I lost my dad to cancer 3 weeks ago and although he was 78 and not as young as your friend, it helped to think about the pain he was in that he wasn't anymore. It's always harder for those of us who are left. Cherish the memories and give yourself time to grieve. It is normal to be angry. I was too. My father was the first...
  19. Hit quote for each response you want to reply to and then hit add reply. A good doctor or team of doctors is wonderful isn't it? I'm happy you have a good team working with you.
  20. Is that just grapefruit or would all citrus apply to that? If it's just grapefruit I'd have to assume it has something in it that other citrus doesn't.
  21. That's great Rachel! That was very nice of him.
  22. It's so nice to see you. I love knowing who I'm talking too. That said, I don't even have a picture of me on my avatar. I do have one of me in profile page though. You're on the path, you've found a big part with the lyme and co-infections. Hopefully you'll start feeling better more as more of these nasties get taken care of. I'm...
  23. Unbelievable. Will be waiting expectantly for updates on what the tests yield for this stuff. It's no wonder you haven't been terribly sick.
  24. We went grocery shopping. Sunday is usually a shopping day, but not always. Should be home this weekend. Pretty much out of money until next friday.
