  1. Oooppppppsss Walking on tip toe......BANG! That's me falling over Seth's toys on the floor. Doesn't matter how often they are picked up.
  2. Glad to see you again Cecile!!!! And I can see you!!!! Hope you are feeling better, you'v been missed.
  3. We all have times like this Rachel. Don't be too hard on yourself. Hopefully the reaction will be over quickly, if you have one. Please don't eat the other ice cream this weekend. You may be ok right now, but you probably wouldn't if you eat the other one too. That's exciting about you having something at the bbq! Seth want to type a message...
  4. I have Johnson's baby shampoo for my older ones. It doesn't list anything with gluten that I can see. I use Healthy Times Baby's Herbal Garden Shampoo and Baby Bath for my youngest. Doesn't list anything that looks like gluten either
  5. Have fun Ashley. So much to see there!
  6. What a beautiful cat! I miss having kitties.
  7. I threw out my scratched plastic bowls. I would think it would depend on what you served in them. I don't know about the spoons, I had to buy new ones for my last one; sippy cups, I think I used a newer lid on the ones I have. I also bought some new ones. My oldest children still have sippy cups for night time drinking (water) and I didn't replace...
  8. Alice, The tests could be skewed depending on how long you were gluten lite. If it was a short time (less than a month) they should be ok. If you do have celiac than even if you don't have a very bad reaction to gluten, you would still be causing damage to your intestines. You won't want to make a habit of eating out alot without concern for cc.
  9. Fresh coconut milk. I may have to try that sometime. Ummmm, take a hammer to it.
  10. Freeda vitalets are great, my kids love them. I only give them 1 (under 4 should only have 1 anyway). I also give them Rhino Calcium by Nutrition Now. Here's the email response I got from Nutrition Now.
  11. At least those aren't bad for you. I am intolerant to asparagus and pineapple though. Haven't been eating them....hoping to get my body to forget they exist. I only had asparagus a couple times a year as it was....so that one probably won't work (unless it's a false positive). It was in the high category along with the kidney beans I didn't eat very much...
  12. I totally agree with this post. I did have the whole schmeel done with enterolab from the get go. I was interested in the genetics too. I charged my family's tests with them because I wanted it done. You would need to do what you are comfortable with. Gluten free with or without confirmation.
  13. Happy Birthday Ashley!
  14. Laura, I'm one of those that just learned that IgG was intolerance and IgE was allergies. I thought the IgG was a delayed allergic reaction. Anyway, I have only one true allergy which is also an intolerance. But I always stated that is was IgG.
  15. It is more fun to Rachel those foods that aren't quite as good for us isn't it.
  16. Rachel, Vent away. I don't blame you for being frustrated and angry. I would be too. You're so close to being able to start with some treatment. Try and stay busy. We are probably going to go to Mt Hood tomorrow for a little train excursion. It's like a 2-3 hour drive for a bity 30 minute train ride. The train is The Little Engine That Could....
  17. Carla, It that the new pic already? Your hair looks nice, they did a good job.
  18. Nini, He sounds cute. Can't wait to see pictures. I love kitties....just can't have any where we live and with the baby.
  19. Donna, I can totally see that too! Rachel with her ice cream, you with the chocolate bumble bars, and me with the enjoy life chocolate chips.
  20. Have fun! The do have envirokidz but I forget what is in them.
  21. I don't remember if I posted this on this thread or not, but the doctor I see for allergies said that the wheat kernals used to be (or are) coated with mercury to prevent them from molding or whatever before they sprouted. He believes that the mercury binds to the protein molecule. Obviously that would cause a lot of problems. BTW, I also believe that...
  22. Yah, finances are the pits aren't they. I hear you loud and clear. I'm still looking forward to your renewed health.
  23. Fresh would be about a week, frozen would be ok for up to a year.
  24. You've been gluten free for a month and already started healing. Doing a gluten challenge for 3 weeks probably won't do much. If you had a lot of damage then there would still be damage now. I, personally, don't think the challenge is worth the pain for a possible negative biopsy. That of course is a decision you will have to make. Do you need something...
  25. That's great Jenny! Did you order their baking powder or baking soda?
