  1. Thanks Julie. I may have to work on cutting down the sugar. That is a lot of sugar!
  2. I had severe stomach pain a few years ago and even though it wasn't that common recently my doctor would have been willing to run the Celiac panel. I didn't do it since I had been gluten light for 1 1/2 months. My numbers through enterolab are low so I don't know that it would have registered. I still get stomach pain if I get glutened but it's not...
  3. We are trying to limit the chocolate chip and cookie consumption to the weekends now. Can't afford all the money we've been spending on treats. I really need to get away from the computer and get something done. I need to make bread, should really make my own cookies, etc. I'd sure miss you guys if I had to leave this computer for too long.
  4. Laura, Enjoy Life bread has yeast in it.
  5. Thanks Patti, I copied it over.
  6. Laura, Corn is in everything, you are right. I know Rachel had posted a list in the omg thread somewhere. When I have time I'll search for it. I do know that one of the things with corn is citric acid which is in everything. It is grown on or derived from corn. You already mentioned enjoy life foods. My family has had their bread, cookies,...
  7. Boy, I had to reboot my computer twice. It was going schitzoid on me. Now that I missed the party. I'll change my avatar to what I love (food wise that is). You all know, I've mentioned it thousands of time......enjoy life chocolate chips since I am soy intolerant I don't have anything with soy lecithin either. Julie, As I am soy intolerant...
  8. Erica, If you have the ELISA test done, they can test for IgE and IgG, it would give you an idea to start with. My allergy doctor told me to eliminate everything that tested moderate to high and remove the low's that were above a certain range that I felt comfortable removing. The idea is to go off of them for a few months and add one food per week back...
  9. Donna, I think you missed where I changed my avatar to nuggets for Susan. I only had it up for a little bit.
  10. I hear you. Glad to hear that your itching legs have calmed down. Sorry about the stress induced work situation. Vincent, I also hear you about finances. Sounds like you did everything and more for Timothy. It's all worth it. I know the pocketbook will be tight for awhile, and yes, having you home is very important. It's good...
  11. We buy either food for life or enjoy life if I don't make my own. I haven't had a problem with the rice almond one. The white or brown rice one would have problems with the top part coming off. Is that what kind you buy? Have you tried the almond rice one?
  12. Rachel, You really ought to write a book after all this. You express yourself well, always. Time for all good little girls and boys to be in bed.
  13. Night Rachel. Hope this Monday is better than last Monday.
  14. I would love to if I had the money. My doctor told me of someone who will do your whole mouth (removing amalgams) for, I think it was, around $2000. He's in Georgia. I know neither one of us have that kind of money. My doctor gave me a list of toxic free doctors/dentists for our area (northwest coast).
  15. Vincent, I don't have anything to add....Rachel's post sounds good. HUGS. Would you consider trying to find someone to check into mercury poisoning?
  16. Have fun Laura and Patti. Liz, I like the way your son counts (or counted) too.
  17. The doctor I saw for my allergy testing and hair analysis wants me to have my amalgams removed. I didn't want to mess with it since I'm nursing. I don't think Seth could handle the overload, but then again maybe it wouldn't be as bad if it's done right. I still need to have 4 crowns which will take care of most of the amalgams. I'd have two left after...
  18. Ok, so now we have three of us. I used to wear clear a long, long, long time ago.....Once upon a time, in a time far, far away.......about 20-25 years ago.
  19. I admit, my daughter looks a lot like me.....but I don't think I look quite that young. Boy the tazorac cream that Susan is using must really be working for me.
  20. I haven't either, but that's beside the point.
  21. I've seen Christina reading the past few days, she just hasn't posted.
  22. I agree with the experts. I had very low calcium, the doctor wanted me to supplement calcium, zinc, selenium, b12 and I forget what. Sounds like you may be looking at some chelation in your near future. Did the new doc do a hair analysis?
  23. I didn't look as good as her when I hit 30.
  24. Rachel. I need to do some of those sometimes.
