  1. Dave, Good to see you. Do you have a picture update?
  2. A multi vitamin would be good to take. Whether you need more than that would have to be determined by your doctor. I use Freeda vitamins. There is a thread about vitamins that isn't too terribly old. Hopefully others will pipe up with what they use.
  3. Jessica, Hope you feel better in the morning and get a good night's sleep.
  4. I couldn't get the video to play. Anyone else have that problem. It said I didn't have windows media or real player installed and I have both on my computer.
  5. Robbin, I haven't heard of that.
  6. That's great Vincent. The more people know that gluten free can actually taste good the better.
  7. My husband doesn't like me to wear makeup either. I don't even have any in the house. I used to use lip gloss but once I ran out I didn't replace it.
  8. You tell em Bev! Off to eat......be back later.
  9. Turn about is fair play, right?
  10. My foot, you're too old! No you don't have to read back, just jump in.
  11. Thanks for posting that link Nancy.
  12. I see you Ian...don't know if you're on the first page or the last page. Happy belated b-day! That's right! I think you just like us since we don't stay on any particular topic and some of us are cute, beautiful, brave, furry and funny (avatars that is).
  13. Chelsea, You're an ish-ish along with Laura and Jessica (melannen).
  14. So, what'd he say?
  15. Thanks Simply V. I bookmarked that one also. I have one more class to teach for today. We took a break because I had to get an order in. Cut off was 3. That's interesting about the foil. I don't use it often. Sometimes I cook fish in it, sometimes I just cover a casserole dish with foil. Is it bad to cover things with it if it's not touching...
  16. I haven't looked at the page yet.....I will bookmark it for later though. I wanted to comment on the white bean, soy and peanuts. I left my binder with my doctor by accident so I don't have ready reference. I am intolerant to the navy bean (does that count for the white bean?), soy bean, pinto bean and kidney bean. I tested ok for peanuts IgE/IgG but...
  17. The posts Vincent was talking about were deleted. This thread has been one largely of support of whatever people have been going through. We've covered the gamut of corn, dairy, msg, auxigro, sulfur, lyme, mercury toxicitiy, water and filters, along with others I'm sure I'm forgetting. We've had chit chat and laughter in between to elevate some of the...
  18. Thanks for posting the link Laura.....how tragic!
  19. Forgive me for jumping in here....but I love Mr Ed and so do my kids. He lives on in the DVD world. Shhhh, don't tell my kids he's dead. They have a hard enough time with Lassie. Lassie is still alive since it's the same dog year after year right? I know, they've used like 5 Lassies, not including current ones. What am I doing posting here ...
  20. First off, thanks for sharing with us and HUGS for you. Secondly, many things could be causing problems but food wise it would tend to be soy or dairy and possible beans. That is, if you've ruled out all cc issues. Beans/legumes give my family diarrhea. Have you tried keeping a food journal/diary to track what you eat? You need to keep in mind that...
  21. This may not be much comfort....but at least it's only a week. We have to wait 4. Would have only been 3 but the doctor is only over here every other week. We'll be waiting for the results.
  22. For an allergy you would have an immediate reaction, for an intolerance you could have a reaction that starts within a few hours and goes on for a couple days, or it may take up to two days for a reaction. I'm posting a sheet that my doctor gave me. It is really important to keep a food journal to try and track what is the culprit.
  23. Whine away Julie, you're in a safe place. Keep us posted on how your liver tests go.
  24. I actually like all of them but the gingersnap, although my husband liked those. They have snickerdoodles, chocolate chip, double chocolate brownie, no-oat oatmeal and the gingersnap.
