  1. Morning all! So much posting....took awhile to catch up. Carla, That's great the your tmj braces will be covered. That ought to be a load of your mind. Good to hear that your detox program is working. Donna, Still keeping your appointment next week in mind. I'm concerned about you having mixed metal in your mouth too. I like the porcelain...
  2. Nikki, Keep us posted on all fronts if you will. I always liked kitties with blue or green eyes since they weren't as common.
  3. Happy Birthday Tavi!!!
  4. Thanks Ursula for posting those.....it's not the 10th here yet either. Happy birthday everyone!!!!!!
  5. Wow Rachel. I'm glad that you got an almost positive diagnosis of Lyme so you can move forward with treatment. I'll be very curious as to what this other test shows as far as the mercury and other stuff too. Tell Dave thank you from me for being there for you. Are you still taking the keto?
  6. Nikki, Thank you for sharing your kitty with us. He's so pretty. Does he have green eyes?
  7. Hmmm, well that would depend on what you are looking for. They sell all sorts of brands.....namaste, gluten-free bakery, kinnikinnick, amy's, etc. I really don't know all the brands. They carry frozen kinnikinnick, enjoy life, food for life, amy's, rice dream desserts, ians' (is that the gluten free brand), frozen salmon burgers (forget brand), applegate...
  8. Shalia, Fred Meyer/Krogers carries some enjoy life stuff up here. Maybe they would be willing to order some chips for you.
  9. We'll be waiting for the results along with you Nikki.
  10. Nikki, Great to hear about Alan and Terry's and your new status. Poor kitty. Hope he stays comfortable. Do you have a picture of him you could put up for a bit.
  11. Gary, I had my family tested with all the enterolab tests. I felt it was worth it and didn't even try to put it through to insurance. I would definately encourage you to get the whole gluten panel. I think it's great to know what genes you have. Of my family that was tested myself, daughter and oldest son have an active sensitivity. My husband...
  12. Julie, Thanks for the laugh of the day.
  13. Attention Everyone! Rachel asked me to let everyone know that her computer is down and she will post about her appointment as soon as she is able, after the computer gets fixed. We've all waited this long, we can wait a little bit longer, right?
  14. Donna, I can't imagine why insurance wouldn't chip in for porcelain. My dentist didn't even offer me gold, gold is more expensive. Of course, I didn't have insurance, but I would think if he was pushing gold he still would have brought it up. Rachel, We'll be waiting to see what your doctor says. Hi Julie and Bev.
  15. Burdee, I was told by my allergy doctor that the ELISA test can pick up antibodies (if you're intolerant) for quite a while. I had not eaten any dairy for (not a speck) for at least 6 months and still tested positive to it. I had an IgE and IgG reaction. Both of which are true. The only time I may have had any dairy (for a 3 year period of time) is...
  16. Shalia, What state do you live in?
  17. Hershey's chocolate nuggets.
  18. Thanks for that post Jenny. I had read that before.....but it's nice to be reminded.
  19. Rachel, Don't know if you are really still on (even though it says you're here)......go to bed my friend and we'll look forward to your post of scientificness tomorrow. Email me that link if you will (when you get a chance)....shouldn't be turned to lame advertisement then.
  20. Shalia, Four words......Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips. They are wonderful and no soy.
  21. First of all. Have you checked to make sure her meds are gluten and casein free. Secondly, if she is intolerant to casein/dairy products it would be best to get her totally casein free. Gluten, casein and soy can all cause intestinal problems. Dairy is notorius for causing constipation. I don't know how long it will take the distended belly to go down...
  22. Ok, I'm going to post two articles. One for soy allergy and one for soy intolerance. I forget, are you allergic or intolerant and by what testing.
  23. Shalia, Soy can cause intestinal damage as well as a host of other problems. I'm linking an article I posted on soy. It covers infants and children but IMO the same would hold true for adults. Open Original Shared Link I went off soy in February, had allergy testing (IgE/IgG) in March and enterolab in May. I was intolerant IgG and through enterolab...
  24. You like to keep the peace don't you?
