  1. Nice pics Molly. Just looked at them. Will be looking forward to what your friends have.
  2. Down with the Dogs!
  3. You have DQ2 subtype 2 and DQ1 subtype 5. I think I've seen it listed as dq2.2 and dq1.5 or something like that. That's great that you know for sure now! Thanks for posting about the gene test. Doesn't make much sense for me to get the baby the full test as he won't be eating gluten. He already has a problem with it.
  4. Rachel, This is just my opinion. You're used to that I know. I don't think the work itself will hurt you. If you are lifting, stacking, moving inventory all day long, then that is going to wear on you due to the extra stress of *having* to do it. The stress plus the extra work could be a problem. I'm pm'ing you. My rant doesn't need...
  5. Great news Susan! Picture? We demand a picture. Susan, I think the reference to Robbin and insects was her trying to come up with good, solid ways to get rid of them. Hi Lindalee!
  6. Doesn't the tomato puree have citric acid in it? I thought that was derived from corn.
  7. From what I've read on here, unilever is upfront about labeling things.
  8. Wow, I find all this interesting. I breastfeed my first two for 2 years 10 months. Hoping to go that long with my third. I never knew about the cereals being hard to digest. I don't think the cereal I buy is cc'd. My son reacted to the oatmeal I tried, but has been fine on the rice cereal. I started him on solids when he was 7 months old. Don...
  9. Another recipe that we liked before going gluten free. Thanks to Tinkyada it's still doable. Both recipes are from Guilt Free Gourmet by Vicki Griffin Crunchy Noodle Casserole 1 lb noodles (bow-tie or seashell) 1 recipe Cashew Milk Gravey (see below) 3 Tb Chick-it Seasoning (also see below) Could sub mckays chicken seasoning or bill's best if...
  10. I don't understand alot about the auto immune reactions. I'm thinking other food intolerances, diabetes, etc. You may want to post a new thread about what elevated ttg means in regards to auto immune reactions. There are a lot more knowledgable people on here.
  11. From what I understand about the ttg is that it is other autoimmune reactions aside from gluten sensitivity. Your daughter needs to be gluten and casein free according to her results from enterolab. Both of these are for life. She has the dq1 gene which is the one that is associated with neurological problems. What were the subtypes....was she dq3 type...
  12. Rachel, Those things are tiny!! They look as small as fleas. I guess the difference would be that fleas bit again and again but don't burrow.
  13. Rachel, If you are eating 100% grass fed beef you should be fine. The problem is that even grass fed beef is finished off with grains, unless it states 100% grass fed. Organic, grass fed should be fine though. Robbin, I don't know about intolerances getting better. Sorry.
  14. Rinne, I eat quite a bit of meat again. I was raised on meat so it wasn't hard to go back. I buy from Open Original Shared Link. I don't know if they ship to Canada or not. They ship overnight in the US, the longest the meat is in transit is 2 days but I've always got it in one.
  15. We'll hold you to that Molly. Looking forward to seeing them.
  16. Rinne, Who knows whether mad cow disease had been something dormant in cows or not. I have read that feeding dead animals and waste back to the cows, sheep, chickens.....has worsened the problem. Especially considering that cows and sheep are herbavores. Doesn't that make you want to run out and have a hamburger. Yeck. I buy the expensive meat from...
  17. Besty, I've heard of that. I thought I had read they got it from licking the cow's salt licks. Very easily transferable. Somehow I don't think the SAD is helping the poor critters.
  18. HUGS Nikki. I know it's a lot to deal with. We are holding your hand and will help as much as possible. Hang in there.....isn't chocolate good? Not to much though or you'll get a tummy ache.
  19. I wish I could help with ideas. Hugs for you. Ditto what Patti said.....you're great!
  20. I'd be glad to......I would need your phone number in with that email or pm though. I've thought about runnin to Cal for a weekend. Don't think that is what you have in mind though. Today has started out a little better.....gotta get into the trenches.
  21. Eeeeewwwwwwwww. I've got to get the baby his breakfast. Good thing I'm not eating yet. Yuck.
  22. You could also tell me what time your appointments are and I'll note them down and call and remind you the day before. Dave and I don't have brain fog or such......I assume he doesn't.....but he still eats gluten so maybe he does.
  23. Morning Susan, Good to see you. That buck....good thing a neighbor was around. Thanks for posting Richard and reminding people to laugh. HUGS back to ya.
  24. Sandy, OUCH. Poor critters.
  25. Me too Julie. I didn't test intolerant to millet, amaranth or quinoa....but if I have a lot of millet bread (like with french toast), I have a reaction. I did test moderately intolerant to gliadin as well as gluten though.
