  1. I'm so sorry you had a rough night Susan. I tried to get on here around 11 and the site was down. HUGS to you, my friend. I'll pm you my number. I'm usually up until around 11:30. Judy, Hope you get over you ice cream reaction soon. Miamia, Hoping for some answers for you. Evie, Good morning/afternoon to you. It's always good to see you...
  2. There are so many. jerseyangel & lauraj-are always there with a kind word and support. ursula-has a lot of good info and knowledge. juliem & rachel--24-have oftentimes gone out on searches to dig up information. Always a source of a kind word and comfort. There are really so many more.....
  3. Welcome! It is a possibility that your son has celiac/gluten sensitivity. Definately get the whole celiac panel done (5 tests). It would be a good idea if you could get the test done too. I had my family tested through enterolab after being gluten light myself for 1 1/2 months. We all tested on the low positive side with enterolab, but we all...
  4. Yep, I was going to ask that , especially with the ham. I had read it takes time for the body to start back with the enzymes too. We didn't have any problems going back to meat. I don't know why you would react to just those. I was going to say that baby food typically has turkey or chicken added to it, but my husband told me they also have...
  5. I agree with both bklynceliac and momma goose. I usually try to post on newbie threads. Some days I don't have much time though. People can also pm me. I will try to answer or make suggestions on who could help. I have had pm's before after newbies have read some of my posts.
  6. Susan, Can we hope that you won't test gluten again?
  7. Hi all! I've read too many pages to actually post individual responses. Figures one of the few times I have to be gone you all get chatty. I'm so excited for Rachel and Rinne. Waiting for more success for Miamia, Laura, Donna, Julie, Judy, Susan, Patti, etc.....
  8. Both gluten intolerant and celiac are gluten free for life. Just depends on what you want as far as diagnosis, like Kathy Ann said.
  9. I'm not actually far behind you on consumption of foods. I can easily go through 1/2 pound-1 pound a day of meat and I love beef! Makes me wonder how I survived veganism for 3 years and vegetarianism for 5 or so before that. My body didn't like it....I'm intolerant to vegetable protiens. No wonder we get along so well. We'd probably have a...
  10. OK you intolerance experts........ How do you determine whether something is a lifelong intolerance or whether you can safely eat the food again. The idea is to get your body to forget and I know that that can take 1-2 years for some if they can even eat a food again. We will work through those foods we want to reintroduce starting next month (after...
  11. Laura, I'm heading to California either next year or the year after. Depends on if whoever wants to meet up wants a toddler along. He'd be quite disruptive I'm sure. If we set it for a weekend 2 years out then I would leave Seth home since he'd be weaned. I would like to meet anyone who can get out to California. I was thinking somewhere around...
  12. Miamia, Please keep us posted. I'm thinking you would benefit from the bioset as well. Maybe you could bring it up to your doctor. Rachel, do you have to be refered for something like that? Susan, That's right. I remember you posting about the thyroid, just didn't realize it was with the new doctor.
  13. Wow Rachel. That test sounds really interesting. Too bad we don't qualify for something like that. I'd just be curious how everyone would test. That's probably one of the reasons I'm so interested in the intolerances. Better enjoy your ice cream while you can. I talked to my allergy doctor again today trying to get a handle on the citric...
  14. Donna, You're appointment sound quite productive. I'm so excited that a lot of you are starting to get answers and doctors to listen. I will be looking forward to more posts from Donna, Rachel, Laura, Rinne as far as tests, regimen for getting better. Miamia, I see you on once in awhile. Still like to hear how you are and if your getting...
  15. Laura, Thanks for the update on your appointment. I can't believe the head doctor! I do hope your next appointment makes some headway and/or your appointment at JH. Good think your mom was with you. Sounds like that whole section with the head doc would have left you with no energy just by itself. Get some rest this weekend and we'll talk...
  16. Julie, I've been wondering about the lyme with you too. That measles shot could have been the springboard. If lyme loves mercury than that would have been something. I think Rachel mentioned her doctor treating people from all over......did you Rachel or did someone else post about a different doctor that treated people from all over. Does...
  17. Lots going on over here today. Richard keep us posted please. Liz, hang in there. Carla and Morgan.....you two are too much fun. Hi everyone!
  18. So much going on this morning. Rinne, Yae for a diagnosis! We'll look for more posting when you have time. Know you've got you get together this weekend too. Donna, My doctor mentions taking vitamin c before shots.....wonder if that would go for the amalgam removal etc. Also helps with C. Simply V, I'll look into...

This is a list of ingredients that contain hidden msg.
  20. What about calcium carbonate. Would that be safe?
  21. OK. I just ran into my first PROBLEM. Citric acid/citrate is in calcium and multi's. I have the health food store trying to track down whether they can find anything gluten, soy and citrus free in children's vitamins. Doesn't look promising at all. I really don't want to have my daughter go back to dairy.......she didn't test intolerant to it though...
  22. Unbelievable. I assume that organic would be ok.
  23. I had ELISA testing for my family. Is that what you are doing?
  24. We are gluten, soy and dairy free as a family and will be going egg free for my husband and daughter. None of us are intolerant to corn though. For the allergy testing, is that IgE? We had IgG done for the kids and IgE/IgG for us. You will probably find much more on the intolerances than you would on the allergies.
