The cows will be out on the range and won't bother us in town. They'll come in for milking (at least the milk cows) and shelter but they'll be on the outskirts of town.

I'd love that! I'm looking at ordering 100% grass fed beef from online. They deliver fed ex overnight. US Wellness Meats Online sells 100% grass fed beef for those interested....since Jessica already has her own.

I'm sorry that happened. Horse trainers take lots of beatings. Do you think that could be part of the reason arthritis has settled in some of your joints? I knew an arab who's name fit him to a tee. He was a mean, ornery horse to everyone and everything, including the mares. His name was el paso diablo (the devils song is the translation I think...

Our chickens will have to be trained like our geese. Your parents place sounds wonderful. I love the country....just don't live in it. My hubby drives all day and we don't see him much some days as is so we live close to work. You can live on the island.....Celia might want to join you....she loves the ocean.

You bet! I saw your post down below....I'll copy it over. Would you like to be listed as jayhawkmom or your name (if name please provide)?

Thanks for typing that up Chelsea. I'll have to copy all these poems over to read to the kids. Maybe I'll have to look at getting some Shel Silverstein books.

I'm sorry about Luke. I gave my horse to my old 4h leader since I couldn't afford to keep her. She foundered pretty bad and I'm assuming she was put down. Not worth the shoe expense to keep an old pasture horse. That would have been about 7 years ago. She was 23. She was 1/2 arab, 1/2 quarter. I've never been on a walker but they are reknowned for...

Oh, I remember that one....that's good too.

Thanks Chelsea! That's a good one. Do you remember Saray Cynthia Syvia Stout would not take the garbage out......or something like that. Actually we are in the country with a slab of ocean front. We also have a lake and pristine rivers. Those who like to shop and get out go over the hill.....to town. Where else can you find the space...

That's funny Morgan We need to get our giggles and laughs in. It always helps me be more positive about my day and I'm not even real sick and don't have major reactions to glutening. For those that do....that is what we are here for. The lighter side (wasn't that a book of poems by.....I forget who....I want to say Sydney Sheldon), to have fun...

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
AndreaB replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Miamia and Rachel, When Talitha had her blood work done we always had results within a couple days. Maybe they do some things faster than others. I was looking for Susan's post about her neice over here. Susan if you come over and read this....sounds like your neice could benefit from being tested for celiac as well as challenging the histamine... -
Hello everyone! It's good to see you found us Dave. Carla and Morgan.....oops on the picture. I just saw the similar face picture and didn't even look at the name. I like both the new pictures. Picard.......yes, picture please. Rachel, Why do I think his bark is worse then his bite? Afterall he didn't say anything about the orange...

You bet! We would need to know you're interests/hobbies to better place you. Also your name unless you want me to list it as samking. Welcome to town! Jayhawkmom, Come back anytime. If you want to be a regular and have a job....let us know.....application is on page 1.....very easy. For those that aren't gluten free we have a...

ARCHIVED Possible Silent Celiac With Possiblle Celiac Son Needing Advice
AndreaB replied to annarboramy's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
If you want to have a biopsy done you can't go gluten free. It will mess up the results of the biopsy. If the blood test comes back negative you do have another option if you want to spend the money. My family, except infant son, went through enterolab for testing. They can only tell you if you have an intolerance, but it's still gluten free for life... -
ARCHIVED Newbie In Portland Or Area
AndreaB replied to Sierra's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Sierra, Welcome! I'm just north of Vancouver WA but haven't been to any meetings. There is a totally gluten free store in Vancouver that I love.....Lingonberries Market. You can look it up online. Take 205 N to exit 30 (500E) and follow through to light. After going through intersection the store is on your left. Great place and super... -
Susan, Just reading about all that work makes me tired. Just said goodbye to hubby and baby is finally asleep. Little girl is still awake wanting to know if I will be up until she goes to sleep. It's 1 1/2 past her bedtime. We let the kids stay up til 9 since they won't see daddy until Thursday. I've asked Celia to come over here before...

AndreaB replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Could be. -
Lots of liquids too, but I'm sure you know that. I hope this passes soon. I just looked at your member number......boy you're old. Just kidding, old as far as member length. I'll have to check out Molly's number since she's been here a while too.

Nope dark brown. I have a head piece over my head that trails down my back. Those costumes are fun. It was my 4h leaders and didn't match my horse very well but I just wanted to go in the class. Come join us more often. We are a friendly group and the more the merrier.

She's the one I wanted people to see. In the other two I think you can see me a little better. Night Rachel.
