  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. I think I'd need a vacation if I were you too! So is the real problem that insurance will probably drag their feet? Why do I suspect so. The phone consult went well. Dr. E is sending us a mineral taste testing kit for all of us to use. She wasn't too sure about Seth but said we could watch his facial expressions. I'm to try...
  3. Chocolate is a difficult one to get off of. I haven't been buying it lately. If he doesn't do phone consults it is definately better to have all your ducks in a row with the stuff you can, including a completed Igenex report. I agree with this too. What a miserable appointment! That's why I don't go to mainline doctors...
  4. I was thinking this too.
  5. I have to agree with this. A good LLMD will treat many different things and test many different things. I understand the confusion of your mom though. It's a tough spot to be in to want you child well and not being sure which way to go. Is it your GI appointment that's on Monday?
  6. I hate shopping! I know I'm in the extreme minority. Glad you were able to get out, but sorry it wiped you out so bad. Hang in there. Thanks Rachel. I do worry about her too. She really needs some good, professional help. That'll be nice for you if you can keep from overdoing it because you want to stay toastie. I...
  7. I did before my last pregnancy. They went down on there own. I was tested again the last trimester. I don't know if it was gluten or what. They chalked it up to fatty liver because they couldn't find anything else wrong. Haven't been tested since Seth was born though. For me I suppose it could have been metals which Seth would have taken to lessen...
  8. I'm pretty excited too if you couldn't tell from talking to you last night. I think I'd choose to forgo the goodies to start treatments earlier too. For two of the children the Nickel Cadmium group came up on their last ASYRA. I'm thinking the cadmium is from what was in my body (and Mitch's if that's possible). Both of our parents smoked...
  9. Hope it will be done in time. My hubby is mostly organized but I know what you mean.
  10. I hate coughs. Those things are such a sleep disrupter! I hope it doesn't keep you awake much and that it simmers down to a small annoyance quickly. Mitch is in the lumber (primarily) industry.
  11. Kassandra, So now they are waiting on insurance. It seems to me like insurance isn't worth the trouble when you're chronically ill. Of course money is another big problem. On that not, Mitch and I just had to drop ours. Couldn't afford the increase premium. He made more earlier in the year and they take the years average. Even with the state...
  12. I hope you don't have a flare after this. Just got off the phone with Rachel a bit ago. She had the appointment this afternoon to go over her challenge results. She had had a baby dose for the challenge and it did pull a lot of different metals. Mercury was the second highest. It was in the reference range but with the small dose...
  13. God will give you the strength. You have an answer now and can find a good LLMD and start treatment. Sound like a good group of children. I'm glad you've got some answers. Does this mean you won't be starting IV's til next week? I'm starting to get worried about you. Are you going to go up to the LLMD on Friday? Yay...
  14. TS, Yes, definately positive test results.
  15. Could you post it here too. Just do a copy. We've a running list here and I don't always get the update notices for posts on the lyme thread.
  16. Wow Donna! I would assume those will be things of the past once you can get started on some treatments and lessen drastically your toxic load right now. I'm interested in the miasms too. Didn't Rachel say something about those affecting getting better?
  17. Donna, Hope BioSET goes well today. I hope you'll post an update. Jin, Glad to hear your dad is doing a bit better. I'm glad it didn't turn worse for him like last time.
  18. Thanks Laura! I looked at the first page and bookmarked it for later.
  19. I haven't. I don't think she's been on since Sept anyway.
  20. Kristina, I'm glad to hear the chinese herbs are helping. I believe they've helped Julie too, but don't remember if anyone else was doing them. Maybe Claire, who hasn't posted for a long, long time.
  21. I don't think I knew about that. Nuts are moldy too, so that might bother you. You could be muscle tested I would think.
  22. I wouldn't do that if you are truly allergic to nuts. It's not worth the health risk.
  23. Unfortunately, you have experienced what is common with the Medical Community. If you are like us with not much in the way of a good insurance you'll need to strike out on you own and find a good holistic/naturopath type doctor. We charged everything we did this summer.....makes things real challenging now but we didn't feel we could hold off any longer...
