  1. Kassandra, Yikes!!!! Sorry about the episode at school. I don't have any productive answers for you though.
  2. Somehow this doesn't sound quite as good to me. I'm heading over to read the article. Hubby says no more chocolate........sounds like the nibs may be ok?.......just not processed chocolate. Of course, maybe nibs are semi processed and still have some lead. You just make me want to run out and buy some. NOT!!!
  3. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to book well in advance with quite a few sessions. I still think it's great that you've been able to eat normal food! I'd be willing to meet up with you.....just let me know when you're coming up this way. I remember Shelley. Wasn't she the one who had mold in her living room because of a...
  4. Actually Dr E had considered me buying a laser and doing the LED's myself to save money but she would have had to run it by Dr. Cowden and I wasn't comfortable doing that. She worked with us though. Now we won't have the money to continue with the whole supplement regime so she wants me to email her before we need to order anything again so she can figure...
  5. WooHoo!!!!! That is so exciting!!!!! Yay on potatoes and tomatoes occassionally. I was up til 3:30 playing a trial computer game. Great news for you too!!! Did you read Carla's post about chocolate and lead?
  6. Nope, it's been recent. I'm hoping it's detoxing as well. We've been hitting that pretty hard.
  7. That's all! Wow, that's not long! I'm excited about the prospect too. Of course she may not like me as well once she meets the monsters I have.
  8. I don't have any specific answers. I do know that my daughter broke out with HSP (Henoch Scholein Purpura) in February 06. It took a month to come up with a diagnosis. She suffered for over 3 months until we went gluten free after the enterolab tests. We had already been gluten light due to my food intolerances. It went away totally with the gluten free...
  9. Sounds about right to me. Could be less at times depending on specials. It's usually the hotel costs that add up quickly. I'll offer our place, but it's about a three hour drive away from Bellevue and you may not do well here. Of course you'd be able to tell us whether mold was a problem. I will definately make the drive up to see you if you can...
  10. T has complained a couple times about her thumb being hot. She still sucks her thumb though, especially at night. I'll have to keep this in mind among the other things she's dealing with, if it gets to be more troublesome. Are you conservative with anything you eat?
  11. Very, very good point. I have to agree with this!!! If they aren't doing a blood draw then it won't be for IgG. The doctor I go to uses US Biotek for food sensitivity testing although there are others out there. You would probably need to specify that you wanted it done. If you are seeing an allergist......many of them don't believe in delayed food...
  12. I don't have the cookbook anymore so I can list the recipe or even check it out, but I know that maple syrup was used and probably cornstarch/arrowroot.....cooked until it changed color, constantly stirring. I believe the recipe was from the Micheff Sisters although it hadn't made it into a cookbook yet, it probably has by now. Their cookbooks are vegan...
  13. I was going to say naturopath but with your other posts maybe a lawyer would be better sutied for you. Hopefully the allergy test will tell you more. Are you being tested for IgE (immediate) and IgG (delayed) allergies? I haven't looked at it yet but I get the newsletter too. I love my enjoy life chocolate chips! I'd work off...
  14. Hi Patti! I've been following my friends on this thread, although I'm not on the LOD. My doctor has Mitch, Seth and I on PB8. We didn't test well for the goat probiotic we have (thankfully the other 2 can have that) and we're both sensitive to dairy. It doesn't say dairy free but we do ok with it. If you haven't tried it yet, maybe you could.
  15. They can use herbal stuff too, so you don't need to worry about that if you do have lyme. Patti, It will be challenging to stay in a hotel for the weekend, but I'm sure you'll do ok with the fridge and micro.
  16. Jin, I hope you will be in reading and posting as usual too. Patti, I hope this glutening doesn't last long for you. That's great about the house and already being empty! Susie, Nice to see you popping in. Hope work can be somewhat eased into. I know, probably hard with the type of work you do. Try to pace yourself. ...
  17. So glad you are able to get away to see your grandchild! Yay on quitting smoking! You're body will thank you for it.
  18. Call me when you can......I'd like to find out more of what you're thinking of doing. Actually T is the only one I really need to watch for as far as the rotation diet. She has 8 different phenolic food sensitivities as well as individual foods that are problems. The rest of us aren't in that bad of shape as far as foods are concerned. The...
  19. We'll be looking for your post later in the week. I think you said your appointment was this week anyway.
  20. Thank you for taking the time to post this.......I've got it copied over. Wow! That's interesting about the allergies. I'll be looking for your posts on the water and the neurotransmitter retest. Very fascinating stuff.
  21. Grrrr! I was in the middle of a post and lost it. Quick recap.....Mia.....so excited for you and the progress with your new doctor. I can't wait for further updates when you're able. Ami, Don't fret about what has been done. Definately get ahold of the doctor who's been doing the treatments and talk to him/her. With my last...
  22. That is great news! As the others have said diet is proof. Although Enterolab can't diagnose celiac's itself they do tell you whether you have a sensitivity to gluten. With the celiac genes you don't really need anything other than diet response either. Donna, I'd be interested in whatever you want to post on neurotransmitters.
  23. Donna, Hope your appointment is going well. Can't wait for your update. Whenever you can be here is fine. That's what we're here for.
  24. It does sound quite serious. Sounds like Ti or no, it has to be done.....as you said the Ti would come out after a year. Sorry about your pain this morning.....and now the bloating. That doesn't sound like fun either.
  25. I tried looking for it.....couldn't find it. She hasn't responded to email. I just don't think she has anything to do with the computer anymore. I just wanted to offer my support and tell her we love her. As far as your poll......we aren't chronically ill.....thanks to you guys. so we do catch colds/flu's when they go around. We actually...
