  1. I like the nursery photo too. Sounds like everything is ready except Annika.
  2. Well I'm still hoping for the 19th.....since that's what I guessed. I think someone else guessed the 19th as well.
  3. Yikes! You're gonna be mighty hungry if you can't find something else to eat!
  4. If you don't find anything Fiddle-Faddle posted a taco seasoning recipe for me last year. I subbed out the cornmeal for coconut flour and it works just fine.
  5. My LED sheet says for foods that it's 25 hours before and 25 hours after. Are you sure it's not 52 hours total.
  6. Just continue paying attention to movements. I think it's normal to start worrying about things. It's good to be informed and aware but try not to freak yourself out. I wanted to add some things that I have in a book given to us during childbirth classes. Prelude to Labor - 1 - 7 days before true labor begins - May cause some effactment and...
  7. Actually I'd get into the doctor and onto supplementation/support before proceeding with the removals.
  8. If I remember correctly the heart rate can vary from 120-170 bpm. They'd have to monitor you for awhile to see if they thought there was a problem. With my daughter they had me on the monitor for awhile and learned that with every small contraction her heart rate dropped. She was breech so we had a c-section, we also had partial separation of the placenta...
  9. Yep, you got one from each parent you all your children will have one copy. I'd probably refer to you as double DQ9 though since the subtypes are what are referred to with the three's anyway.
  10. That is correct. I don't know why the subtypes of three are referred as the dq but that is what I've read of everyone's posts. I have DQ7 (or 3 subtype 7) along with the DQ2. The subtype 8 of the DQ3 is referred to as DQ8 the celiac gene. Makes me wonder why the DQ8 has been considered a celiac gene and not the 7 or the 9. Isn't DQ2 the most common...
  11. Isn't dq1 different from dq9? I think you're the first I've read with a dq9.
  12. Got those copied over too......thanks Carla.
  13. I'm sorry about the drip reaction. Let us know what the doctor says. From the sounds of all of you, I'm glad I don't like sushi. Good luck with the milk. Glad to hear the lyme is under control again. Have you called him yet? You're a brave person.......I think I'd chicken out of the shots. Our landlord is coming over...
  14. I've done ELISA (IgE/IgG) blood draw testing, Enterolab for what they test and most recently ASYRA. They all have good points but based on my experience the ASYRA is the most accurate. It is a test that measures frequencies in the body and records what doesn't resonate. It's alternative, but is FDA approved. A form of muscle testing is usually used in...
  15. Boy am I the wrong person to ask about food. I've gone down to two meals a day most times. For 1 because I can't figure out what to eat and for 2 we've been short on food funds since my hubby's work has been slower than it should be this time of year. Basically I eat turkey (we like sheltons turkey patties etc.....check the box if you buy their...
  16. If your son has enamel defects I would highly suspect celiac with him. I use Freeda brand vitamins. There website is www.freedavitamins.com They are free of lots of things. Enterolab would be a good test for your son with him being so young. I've heard blood tests aren't real realiable with the young ones but you could always try and see what...
  17. Kassandra, I avoid soy lecithin just because I've read that it's still allergenic. If you want to challenge it, remove it for at least two weeks and then eat something with it in it. It may take time to build up so you'll need to be vigilant in being aware of possible differences in your body.
  18. We've all gotten worse since being here. We've been here just over 2 years and celiac/gluten intolerance didn't come up til last year (about 1 1/2 years ago I started ELISA testing). T's behavior has also gotten worse as well as her sensitivities. If Seth's sulfa didn't clear this time I'll ask if molds in the house could be interfering with him...
  19. It seems quite a few people have problems with corn starch. How do you do with regular corn? Maybe it's something in the processing. You can use arrowroot in recipes that call for corn starch.
  20. Is there no way to do a clean up? I know it would be expensive and maybe not worth it. Is it mainly in the bathroom where you could do a major renovation? We've got to try and figure how much mold we have here. I know we have it in the bathroom ceiling and we've cleaned up some on the baseboard in the master bedroom.....I think it's on that end...
  21. I can just imagine that! Somehow I don't think that'd be a very peaceful wake up call. That's the thing. We won't even have the funds to continue supplements. I want to see what comes up with the next ASYRA/ART session and was hoping to get 4 or 5 more LEDS in but I don't know. The supplements may be more important than getting some of the LED...
  22. I'm glad you have a good doctor. Sounds like a good plan to stop chelation for the time being. I figured apartments would be at a premium over there......seems NY has a reputation for expensive apartments. Sounds like a wonderful place though. Hi Julie! Yes, 7 months is a long time board time.
  23. Nice picture Shelly! I always want to spell your name with an ey.....don't know why. HI JUDY! ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE YOU! I was just talking to my hubby about this tonight. We were planning on paying down some credit cards but now they are going to stay close to maxed out. The financial burden can be stressful but I feel we've got to...
  24. Ami, Glad to hear you can get in so soon.
  25. Thanks for the lists Julie! I've copied them over. I pulled a muscle in my back somehow on Thursday and was babying it and using a heating pad a lot this weekend. Felt better this morning but I've already done too much. Gotta get ready to hit the school session but I'll be checking email frequently as I usually do.
