  1. LLBean, huh? That's catalog only right? I have a confession-I've never ordered from a catalog. I don't know why. Thanks for the suggestions. Susan, George took it in the bathroom and the clerk made him buy it and you know George-he was really upset!
  2. I couldn't get into the ones Oprah reccomended the jersey ones. What thread count do you reccomend? I deserve the best.
  3. Hey Donna, They do look old don't they? Did you see the Seinfield episode about the book George took in the bathroom? If they are good I'll have to try them. I love new sheets.
  4. Hey Susan, Being single means you can do whatever you want! I love Bridget Jones too - she sure did get in some messes. I missed so much- Saw something on here about flannel sheets. I've been thinking about getting some but didn't know what brand -
  5. Hi Evie, Hope you are ok-just talked to Judy and she told me you were missing! I've been away for a little vacation and sure have missed alot. Andrea, sorry about your dad. Hope things will get better-you're in my prayers. Prayers to all
  6. Hi, Yes, I have been off dairy for a while to help with the healing and thought I could sneak a little in and I found out it was too early. Congestion and tiredness followed so I just gave my good cheese away. Believe me it wasn't worth it! I learned early from this super group that staying away from dairy and soy would benefit my stomach. I also...
  7. Hi Patti, Sorry you are not feeling well. From what I underdstand, pain on one side could be the kidneys. Did you feel like your kidneys were strained? Sometimes the back hurts where inflamation is and or could be digestion issues. Can you remember what you ate?
  8. The SCDer's eat whey and they are totally no grains. I hope some others can help.
  9. Carla, Good picture...what is ADA?
  10. Do you want to be friends with these people? If you do, I would discuss your options. I cannot imagine friends not wanting to go to a gluten-free place.
  11. When in Reading, Charlie Brown's is where I would reccommend. It was good and had a gluten-free menu.
  12. Hi Malory, This is my first post in a while as I went on a little trip ( in fact I rode thru NY and the folage was beautiful). My heart goes out to you as I know when the realization hits it can be overwhelming. I'm a celiac who was diagnosed as a baby but thought it went away- that's what they used to think. This is a safe place to come for...
  13. Wow does it ever! Thanks Laura!!
  14. Thanks Laura, I'll try that. I'm not real computer savvy (not my claim to fame). Cute Picture!!
  15. She just emailed me that she has a Wild Oaks real close. Man I am going to be in gluten free heaven. I know nothing about that place either. I'm asking about favorites because I don't want to be in there ALL day. Thanks cmzirlelback and Tim for your suggestions.
  16. Thanks Patti, I will check on this. I hope I get to eat something there!
  17. Thanks Patti, I will look forward to trying the products you recommend. They sound real good. I'll see if she has a wegmans near her also as I don't have one here. Heard good things about that place. Any particular hand cream you use? I'm using Johnson and Johnsons baby cream now. Do you use hair gel or molding mud? I'm using Sebastian...
  18. How about Lancaster? Any near there?
  19. Going to Conneticut next week and will finally get to go to a Whole Foods. There are so many things I haven't been able to find. I know I want the coconut oil. Any recomendations for soap, shampoo, conditioner? These are the main needs but I have to have sodium laurel sulfate free. Any favorite suggestions would really be appreciated...
  20. Going to Pa. and was wondering if anyone knows of a place that does gluten-free near Reading, Pa. Thanks
  21. Chrisser, when I first went on the diet , some things got worse and I think it had a lot to do with getting rid of toxins and fungus. I had a lot of sinus issues (used sinus cleanser and cleared that up so it didn't get to the throat). I ate all the time also. I think that had to do with malabsorption. Never checked the sugar levels but I do...
  22. I agree with the above remarks but It is interesting that they pointed out the dangers of SUGAR.
  23. I have been watching the effects of corn also. Have been sneaking some in lately and it has to go. Popcorn especially messes me up and fritos (both snacks I used to eat).. Could you explain the NAET? I have also noticed my sleep isn't as long after I have had corn.
  24. Thanks Bully- I needed that!
