  1. tell her to bag the whole thing and you're both going out for martinis for christmas.
  2. Making your own biscuit mix is easy, and probably cheaper: Open Original Shared Link BC uses mainly rice flour, so any flour mix that's rice based would probably be similar.
  3. I'm on your 'side' on this. The diet is still relatively new to you, you're probably still in the paranoid phase, and depending on the severity of your symptoms you may not want to be a guinea pig during the holidays. If you're already resolved to do this, then go for it, but if you're still hesitant, talk over your feelings with your mom. She just wants...
  4. Good Gawd! If I stop conversation now by announcing I'm a research scientist, I'll actually cause people to leave if I let slip that I'm a biostatistician. Although.......I'll get more alcohol this way......
  5. Those dratted water bottles take out the best of 'em PT. I've given 'em up meself.
  6. 'k Doin' my personal statement for grad school. Anybody wanna explain to me why I want to apply to the biostatistics program?
  7. I believed her. What a great name for ice cream. M, best you head over to 'shroomie's place - no snow and you can leave mil to yer hubbie to deal with.
  8. I take stuff in to work, or give it to the homeless guys on the way to work.
  9. Pepperoni with melted cheese and gluten-free pretzels. and wine. But they were turkey pepperoni, so not quite the abandon of bacon.
  10. Did anyone stay up last night to watch the eclipse? BE and I sat on his deck freezing and watched the end part. 'twas quite nifty. And I'm quite tired today.
  11. Em the Psilly Disney Psurrogate. And mom is probably wrapped in Rachelle's coat 'cuz they have no heat.
  12. Gads! Parents work waaay too hard!
  13. Gads. Just spent two hours putting away laundry. Now that I'm coming out of my math induced haze I'm beginning to realize just how much I didn't do around the house. I suppose I had to wash the clothes to keep from running out of undies, but that's as far as I got. There's enough junk mail piled up to qualify me as a 'hoarder' and we're down to the last...
  14. :D *sigh* I think I get 'congratulated' again (I did fairly well on the math section).
  15. Hope Knick's boiler is having one of it's good days. GRE taken. One less thing to worry about.
  16. Went to my Brother and SIL's house for their winter solstice bonfire. When I went in, a bunch of the dishes of food had little 'gluten free' signs on them.
  17. I'm still a little sore How do I know this, you ask? :D Damn life is good.
  18. I passed. Too much to do to be excited.
  19. You are frickin' AWESOME!!!! College alone is hard, going back is harder, and going back after you've been ill is almost unheard of. You are an amazing woman and you make the world a better place just by being you.
  20. Give hime the choice, cards or driving. I recommend starting with a shot of whiskey. Makes those uncomfortable clothes easier to put on (and quicker to come off  ) I'm thinking of letting him pick out my next knitting project: Open Original Shared Link
