    I think it's barbaric to cut slices out of someone's body in order to prove to a doc that the person gets sick when they eat some particular food. I skipped the biopsy.

    so i thought the silkie looked cold. she's quite a bit smaller than the others. i picked her up and cupped her in my hands for a while until she was nice and snug. now i've got a tiny chick tucked against my tummy, and when i try to put her back in the cage she backs into my hand as i'm trying to take it out.

    The chapter doesn't mention the pancreas, islet cells, or villi. It's about infections triggering autoimmune responses. I'm not sure you understand what you're posting, and I agree with the previous poster that you are highly unlikely to have any formal medical education.

    There are no identified "Celiac genes", there are only genes associated with the disease. This means you can test positive for these genes, but not have the disease, or you can have the disease, but not test positive for the genes. They are indicators, they are not diagnostic.
