  1. Glad it worked - now I feel that all the time I spent is justified because I could share it with others...awwwwww.
  2. I spent way too much time yesterday trying to find the full list. Whenever I clicked on the separate categories all I could find were comments. It's at the very top of the window for the full file...do you want pdf (Acrobat) or text? Open Original Shared Link I don't know if that link will work or not. But PM me if you still can't figure it out. ...
  3. I went through the pizza crust ordeal a few weeks ago. After several miserable failed attempts at making my own, I was able to locate a store in my neighborhood that sells the Kinnickinnick frozen crusts. I LOVE them. My boyfriend and my best friend both like them better than regular pizza crust. Which means I have to share... While my dream of...
  4. I've gotten pretty good at label reading and all...it's just the "natural flavors, modified food starch, and spices" that really make me nervous. I'd way rather zero in on a brand and stick with it, ya' know?
  5. One of my favorite childhood casseroles calls for cream of mushroom soup. Is campbell's cream of mushroom gluten-free? I remember reading the the Progresso brand used to be, but I don't recall seeing any cream of Progresso soups at my grocery store. Either way, are any of Campbell's Cream Of soups gluten-free? I think another common one found in recipes...
  6. I can say one thing for Coca-Cola...they are extremely efficient in replying to their email inquiries! And now we know why they add all that extra crap: Thank you for contacting The Coca-Cola Company again, Ms. Luecke. We apologize for any inconvenience. We have shared the information you provided to us with the appropriate management. You should...
  7. Let me just say that I was incredibly impressed with the response time. I e-mailed Coca-Cola this morning, and got a standard reply within an hour simply saying they had received my e-mail. Within two more hours I'd received another reply. Below is my correspondance so far - I encourage anyone who has similar problems with Dasani water to e-mail the company...
  8. Wow! Thanks...I am literally sitting here making my grocery list. Off it goes! -Courtney
  9. Ya' know when you accidentally gluten yourself by eating a bag of Doritos without reading the label because you're a moron? And ya' know how you get those painful and intense cramps in your gut that keep you in a doubled-over position? Has anyone tried muscle relaxers? I'm thinking Flexerall...I have some left over from something else. Think it'll help?...
  10. Do you know if Relacore is okay for people with thyroid problems to take? Diet things usually have a disclaimer about people with thyroid and I was dx hypo almost 13 years ago. Just wondering...willing to try anything, ya' know?
  11. The general consensus around here is that bloodwork doesn't mean anything. Try the diet and see how you feel. That should be all the proof you need! Good luck and welcome! -Courtney
  12. Thanks Girl Ninja (love the name, btw) I call these spilled milk days - as in I WILL weep uncontrollably over spilled milk. And if it's really bad, well then my entire cow has just burst open. I get that oversensitive thing...crying at commercials (and not even the ones that are supposed to be heartwarming), feeling ilke I'm being attacked when it's just...
  13. Urusula, after you stopped eating tomatoes how long was it until your headaches stopped?
  14. So yesterday my moronic self ate some Doritos. Oops. Then I got sick for a long while. And felt AWFUL. It's like involuntary aversion therapy! Anwyays, I took some Ambien to ensure that I would sleep because I felt so awful. My headaches were on and off and I felt very nauseaus. The D stopped, but I also havent' had anything to drink since...probaby...
  15. Yeah. What I really wanted was Cheetos. I've had those several times with no problems. Still sick...guess it's not all in my head!
  16. Oooooooooh, I was so hungry this morning at school. I just needed a little snacky snack. I would've sworn on my life that Doritos are gluten-free. Just the regular ol' cheese ones. So I got a bag from the vending machine- one of those little tiny ones. As I was finishing it up, I turned the bag over out of habit. The problem was that I turned the bag over...
  17. Mine aren't gone, but they seem to have decreased in frequency. By this I mean that instead of having one 5-6 days a week, I usually only have them 4-5 days a week. Great. I'm not sure if they've changed or if I've just gotten so scared of them getting bad that my Excedrin habit has worsened. I find that if I take two at the beginning of the headache...
  18. What herbal supplements do you take for fatigue?
  19. I've always wanted to try it, but there are SO many different 'cleansing' programs out there, and some of them can be really dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. I like the idea of cleaning your body out, but yes. It will definately make you feel like crap. I've tabled that idea until I come across some very compelling information or suggestions...
  20. I'm glad they figured it out! SERIOUS it is called the celiac's artery? That's too funny. Good luck!
  21. I haven't even thought of attempting to explain this...phenomonen to teachers. Once it really gets to be a problem I suppose I'll just say that I have some 'medical problems' that I'm dealing with. Which I am. The problem being is that I'm trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with me! I'm a few weeks in, so I think I've got a pretty good read on...
  22. I take hte NatureMade daily multi vitamin and it says right on the back of the label that it is made with: "No artificial colors, no artificial flavors, no preservatives, no chemical solvents, yeast or gluten" In terms of CC like with Centrum though, I have no idea. But it's a great question. Perhaps someone else on here knows? -Courtney
  23. I am fortunate in that I have a fairly immediate reaction. I know there are people on here who don't have reactions for a week or two until after they've ingested gluten, and then good luck figuring out the culprit! A few weeks ago I was out to dinner (a heavy risk I was willing to wager for a top notch steak) and by the end of the meal, I simply KNEW...
  24. I agree with Hez. I think it is company specific and it can even be specific to that particular production of the product. I've eaten things that clearly are labelled they are produced in facilities containing gluten and been fine. And I've had things with the same warning and I've gotten ill. It probably depends on how thoroughly they clean the line before...
  25. I'm 24, and mine clearly isn't near as bad as yours. No seizures or anything like that (poor thing!!). I just get SO spacey. I mean, to the point where it really is dangerous for me to drive a car. And the weird thing is that I KNOW I'm spacing out. But I just can't focus. It happens while...well pretty much while I'm doing anything. Homework. Class...
