It seems that more places are getting smoothies lately. Does anybody know if any of them are gluten and dairy free?

Hmmm....looking like McDonald's ones would be okay if made without yogurt.

I know most are gluten-free but not sure if any are dairy free. I think places like Smoothie King can make them df. Not sure if that is in many places.

TCBY makes some with sorbet, maybe check those?

WHole Foods makes smoothies and some are just fruits blended up. Or fruits and kale ( that's the one my son likes ). It's a gross color. Lol

Edit: Open Original Shared Link. The light ones seem to be gluten-free & df

And a smoothie would be very unlikely to get CC'ed, correct?

I suppose it depends on the place. Like Smoothie King - most are gluten-free. WFs would probably use a clean blender if you mentioned. I think I might try Orange Julius because none of them seem to have gluten. Some have dairy - but usually dairy free people can take an accidental drop or two of cc.

All of McDonald's ones are gluten free, so that seems like a safe bet. I live in a rural area, so I don't have a lot of restaurant choices. I will have to look up some of those other restaurants and become familiar with them though for when we travel.

Whole Foods is a good 2 hour drive away.

They have milk, but from my reading it sounds like they will make them without yogurt on request. :)

And I don't have an severe milk allergy, I'm just dairy free, because it seems to bother my sinuses, so if it gets slightly CC'ed with dairy, it's no biggie.

I stopped at McDonald's and got 2 large smoothies today and asked for extra cups, so I could divide them among me and the 3 kids. They were so good! It's nice to have some convenient items like this.

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
