Now Foods Supplements Clearly Labeled gluten-free, Wf, Sf, Df, Yf, Etc.

NOW foods makes a pretty inexpensive line of supplements that are allergen free... I found out by accident... I started getting a UTI but didn't want to go on antibiotics and after some googling I found out about D-Mannose powder (naturally occuring sugar in cranberries, blueberries, etc.) so I ordered NOW foods version from Lame Advertisement.com... anyway... I noticed the allergen free blurb on the website label and decided to check out their other products... and they mostly all appear to have that statement... So after being supplement free for a couple of months (out of fear of glutening)... it seems I've finally found some products that will be good for me without causing reactions... currently I am on:

Isotonix OPC-3 (antioxidant... mentioned in my other post)

NOW foods Cal-Mag (Stress multi that includes calcium, magnesium, vitamin c and the b vitamins)

NOW foods Odorless Garlic

NOW foods GR8-Dophilus (Probiotic)

Does this sound like a good mix guys/gals?

I can't comment on the specific products but I take NOW supplements and I haven't had any problems. Also, I used to take D-Mannose years ago when I would get UTIs and it really helped. I really do like the NOW products.

I get the NOW products at my local health food store but if you don't have one near you they do sell over the internet. Here is a link to their home page-

I would like to buy their Vitamin C. I almost went ahead and did it. Just happened to notice they make "Gluten Flour"?! So I call and it's a shared facility and they justify labelling as "gluten free" because it doesn't naturally have gluten in it... which is not the real question... So it's a few years later and I have to ask the same thing all over again: Does anyone react/not react with Now Foods?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
