What should one expect? Diff in celiac disease ?

Cause mine is alwasy LOW. Awlays. Like yesterday it was 96.1 when I checked it. I can not think of anytime that i have gotten up to normal, unless I was running a fever.

Oh I ment to add the reason I check my temp is cause I get hot and cold flashes from time to time, and I check it then...

Nah, I think it's your natural internal metabolism rate. Mine was low before celiac disease, still is. 98.6 is AVG. That means anything on either side within certain peramiters is normal.

I have always seemed to run on the low side with my temperature too.

When I was on gluten I always had a low grade fever from 100-102. Now that I am gluten-free my body temp is always 93-94.

Mine has always been very low... of course I also have low heart rate, low blood pressure and low cholestorl (except for the good kind which is high).

I think its just individual from person to person.

My normal body temp has always been low- like 92 to 94. When I hit 95 or above, I feel like I have a fever and ever since my symptoms came on, I am freezing ALL the time too. ????

Hmmmmm seems like it MIGHT be a celiac disease thing to have a low body temp. I know its sposed to range, but in "Normal" ppl its 97-99 is the range, and 95 is considered hyopthermia. :huh:

I have a very high tolerance for cold and can't stand hot weather at all. In the winter I keep my thermostat at 62 and still wear shorts and a t-shirt.

I don't know if it is Celiac related, but it IS thyroid related. That is one of the symptoms when your thyroid isn't functioning. You also have trouble with the cold.

      I'm very confused... My blood test came out negative, I checked all antibodies. I suppose my Total IgA levels are normal (132 mg/dl), so the test should be reliable. Still, I'm not relieved as I can't tolerate even a single biscuit. I need to talk to my doctor about whether a duodenal biopsy is necessary. But it is really possible to have intestinal damage despite having a seronegative results? I have really strong symptoms, and I don't want to keep skipping university lectures or being bedridden at home.

      They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

      In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

      This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.
