Hi Diana,

I still can't post to my blog. How were you able to be successful in posting? Are there any updates on what the problem is? If any moderators are reading this, I would love to have my review of "Celiac Disease and Endometriosis" posted.

Thanks!

Jess

I will go have a look and will post your drafts if I can find them.

I published one by each of you. We still don't understand why this keeps happening.

I wasn't successful, but it sounds like Peter helped us for the moment.  I ended up putting mine in coping section and retyping it!  It was for the 4th of July, though and didn't get posted til the 6th.  Atleast, it is still the fourth of July weekend.  Atleast one can save to draft and edit it.  On my last attempt, I couldn't do that either!

Thanks D and Peter. Hope we can all get ourselves back to being able to post soon!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
