Gluten free, nut free help.

Hey guys,

So I'm looking for a nutrition bar/protein bar that not only has to be gluten free, but also nut free. My girlfriend and I live together and she is highly allergic to all tree nuts, so we can't have any nut products in the house (coconut is the exception). I'm looking for a product or recipe that satisfies both of these conditions. I've tried places like google and pinterest, as well as all grocery stores in my area, and everything I'm finding is free of one or the other, but never both. For what it's worth, we live in Ontario, Canada, right on the border of the US. While we don't necessarily want to shop over there with the exchange rate, we will consider it if their are no other options.

 Thanks in advance!

I have gotten the above bars. They are ok.

I have never tried these bars, but I like the pouches of dried chick peas.

Have you tried a natural food store?

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.

Some interesting articles regarding the use of Zinc Carnosine to help heal gastric ulcers, gastritis and intestinal permeability. I would consult a medical professional about it's use. https://www.nature.com/articles/ncpgasthep0778 https://www.rupahealth.com/post/clinical-applications-of-zinc-carnosine---evidence-review https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7146259/ https://www.fallbrookmedicalcenter.com/zinc-l-carnosine-benefits-dosage-and-safety/
