I found these on sale at Costco and I haven't eaten them in years. While they do not say "gluten free" they also don't have anything that I can see, aside from distilled vinegar, that might be an issue. I don't see any CC issues either. Just wondering before I dig in if anyone has had any experience good or bad with them. Thanks.

Been enjoing them for years both cooked in gluten-free pasta and raw in salads. Never  a problem with them.

Thanks Kenlove. I know you have been in Japan so you'll understand when I say the artichoke hearts were on sale for 377 yen for the two jar set. Too good to pass up! As long as I can eat them!

Been wondering about these also, I been personally just using frozen ones from Trader Joe's. But I also have a thing with the salt, thinking a good rinse and soak in some water for 15mins should help pull it out. Would be great in omlettes, sautes, and in my pasta dishes.

now thats  deal for there.  My wife just  bought the big two jar set yesterday forgetting they  we bought one set together last week. Going to be having a lot of them over the next few months!

Does it seem most marinated and plain canned artichoke hearts would be gluten-free?  I saw a few gluten-free recipes online that call for artichokes in them, and they don't specify a certain brand or mention getting gluten-free ones (even though they might go out of their way to mention getting a gluten-free pasta in the recipe).  So I was wondering if it seems most artichokes are gluten-free?  I am going to try to find the Kirkland or Delallo brands this week, but if I can't find them I am wondering if I dare try some other brand, as long as I read the ingredients first.  Anyone tried any random brands and been okay with them? 

I am thinking a chicken and artichoke quiche would be tasty on the menu this week.

      Is there a digestive enzyme that helps build a healthier gut? I see people taking them but not sure what really works

      Disaccharide deficient, confusing biopsy results, no blood test

      So the tTG-IGA at 28 is positive for celiac disease. There are some other medical conditions that can cause elevated tTG-IGA but this is unlikely. There are some people for whom the dairy protein casein can cause this but by far the most likely cause is celiac disease. Especially when your small bowel lining is "scalloped".       hi, i want to say thank you to you and @trents . after 2 phone calls to my GI, her office called me back to tell me that a blood test was “unnecessary” and that we should “follow the gold standard” and since my biopsy did not indicate celiac, to follow the no dairy and sucraid diet. i luckily have expendable income and made an appt for the labcorp blood t...

      Okay that is really good to know. So with that being positive and the other being high it makes sense she diagnosed her even without the endoscopy. So glad we caught it early. She had so many symptoms though that to me it was clear something was wrong. yeah I think we had better test us and the other kids as well.

      So the tTG-IGA at 28 is positive for celiac disease. There are some other medical conditions that can cause elevated tTG-IGA but this is unlikely. There are some people for whom the dairy protein casein can cause this but by far the most likely cause is celiac disease. Especially when your small bowel lining is "scalloped". Your Serum IGA 01 (aka, "total IGA") at 245 mg/dl is within normal range, indicating you are not IGA deficient. But I also think it would be wise to take your doctor's advice about the sucraid diet and avoiding dairy . . . at least until you experience healing and your gut has had a chance to heal, which can take around two years. After that, you can experiment with adding dairy back in and monitor symptoms. By the way, if you want the protein afforded by dairy but need to avoid casein, you can do so with whey protein powder. Whey is the other major protein in dairy.

Studies have demonstrated that endomysial IgA antibodies have over 99% specificity for gluten sensitive enteropathy. Immunoglobulin A, Qn, Serum 01 245 mg/dL 87-352
