Soy Lecithin ?

I know many people who can't have gluten also can't have other things (like soy, corn, dairy).  I have been trying to avoid soy lately.  I saw something online mentioning that even if you can't eat soy, that you can eat things with soy lecithin in it.  Anyone here not able to eat soy, but are okay with things that include soy lecithin? (I feel so confused today, I can't stand it, lol.)

YEP. Soy milk, soy protein, plain soy...I get really bad cramping, gas. Soy lecitin, in supplements, protein powders, or in food additives has never bothered me at all....and I am sensitive to the most random things.

Thanks so much for letting me know.  Okay, that is one ingredient I can handle then.  Yay! Now to remember what products had it that I can now eat.

Don't rejoice so fast.  One man's meat is another man's poison!

Everyone's body reacts differently to certain things so tread carefully.

I don't do soy, soy Lecitin, corn, high fructose corn syrup  etc.

If you are celiac,  look for organic foods that don't  contain alot of artificial preserves.

You have a good point there.  Ennis just seems to be very sensitive so I was thinking maybe there was indeed something to that article I read saying soy lecithin tends to not bother a lot of people.  But we all are different. I don't have celiac, but am gluten sensitive.  All of a sudden I started getting long term fever, stomach pain, stomach distention.  My stomach started getting better at one point, after I had given up gluten about two months or so.  And I was still eating some ingredients that have corn and soy.  I was looking back at my food journal and the best few weeks I had, we had cooked BBQ chicken with a gluten free sauce, but I believe it had corn syrup in it. And I ate some mayo a few times that had soy in it, and the magnesium I take has the soy lecithin.  But then I started adding more foods and started having trouble again.  Fiber seemed to make me bloat too, and my dr had given me a list for IBS, with foods to avoid, but then another dr told me they didn't think that was the issue, and it was all gluten, and in a few more months I should feel improvement.  It has been very confusing.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
