Does anyone know if best yet (private label from c&s) frozen young turkeys are gluten free?

I have never seen a plain raw turkey with gluten.  Sometimes they come with a gravy packet you can throw out.

There is a link in this article to different gluten free turkeys:

Right, the sealed gravy packets may contain gluten.  But that doesn't mean the turkey itself has gluten in it.  The gravy packets are easy to throw away, or give to someone else.  I hear Bob Cratchett has a turkey but no gravy packet.  So he might want it.

It would be a good idea to check with the company to be sure.  We don't have those stores around here.

Yes I saw. After reading the book I quickly became overwhelmed with that type of protocol. Unfortunately for me it seems unrealistic to eat with those guidelines. And I also find some of the information hard to understand and follow. I appreciate the recommendation though.

Welcome, @Melvin McDowell! Just wanted you to know you are replying to a post that was made 21 years ago. It is unlikely that person is still monitoring this thread, especially since they are a "guest" poster and not registered as a member.

My feeling is that histamine intolerance/MCAS is doesn't get enough press in the medical world and is greatly underdiagnosed.

I just saw in Trent’s response something about the vitamins. Good to know.
