Granola?

Can anyone reccomend a good gluten-free granola? I saw a couple at the store but they are very expensive and I would hate to buy it and it taste bad.

some people really like the Enjoy Life Foods granola... personally I think it has a weird taste, but you never know, you may like it. I love other products they have, just not that one. It's not terrible, just not something I personally like.

You may find a recipe for one that you can make yourself. My mom used to make home made granola when I was growing up, I'm sure it could be easily converted to gluten free.

Im one of the "Enjoy Lifers"-- i love the stuff.. i like the cinnamon crunch flavor and a box at my local store (same size as a cereal box) is only $4.15 (same price as a box of cereal). But, ive heard there is some inconsistency w/ this brand- some people have said they have bought boxes that tasted absolutely horrible? Ive never experienced this. I like it with milk or w/ yogurt-- sometimes i add flaxseed to it but this is not necessary as all the brands have 6 or 7 grams of fiber.

The best granola we've tried is Energy brand " Trail Mix". Frankly, I'm not too keen on a lot of Energy's prepared items....mostly I just use their flours; but this granola is really great. Now they have granola bars too-but that's not what we buy. The Trail Mix is in a box about the same size as their flours come in and its really great to sprinkle on top of yogurt, etc. My granddaughter actually cooks it as a hot cerial and loves it.

      Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

      Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:

      This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

      I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
