I was in Westerly Market in New York today and they had a new brand of gluten free cookies and they were great!!!!!!!!!I usually hate gluten free goods but these were really tasty. The brand is Kates Baked Goods.

Westerly is the best. I guess there a new brand they were inn the cookie aisle by the other gluten free goodies. They said they were getting more in today- I am going back they are the first gluten free cookies that I actually liked. Plus the kates brand makes a gluten free granola - I have never sees a gluten free granola before- I am totally going to try it. I'll let you know how it is.

Kate, I haven't seen the brand, but there are two cookie brands I enjoy(ed) - Enjoy Life is one (free of all sorts of allergens too) and Pamela's is the other (I can't eat these now though since I can't tolerate eggs or casein). If you get a chance, check these out too....always nice to have a back up, in case they run out of your favs!

thats crazy that you coulden't find them I was by yesturday and bought another bag and a bag of the granola- which I was hesitant about becuase it seemed a little pricey- but it was so good . I can't have pamelas either- ( no egg, nodairy- for me!!!) I remember enjoy life having somehting in it i had to avoid but maybe I'll check it out again. Well I hope you find these cookies eventually becasue there really good.

Westerly is on 54th and 8th it is the best health food store. Good prices and big selection. The brand I was talking about is Kate's Baked Goods- the guy said it was new and its great for me because their products are also dairy and egg free.

I’m in a flare up with rib pain. I read where others have experienced this after exposure to gluten.  Has anyone found something that eases the pain.

Scott Adams/Trents - Thanks!  I will definitely do some more research.  I welcome any and all advice.

Yes, I've read that online but I was just surprised that no one has mentioned it on this forum specifically.  We have not had our follow up meeting with the Dr where I'm sure she will advise as to how he needs to deal with this ailment.  I have learned from past health issues - if you want to find the REAL truth - talk to someone living with the disease.  THEY will know way more than any doctor ever could.    Thanks for responding.
