So unbeknownst to me malt beverages (specifically spiked ice tea) is NOT gluten free. I’ve gotten so sick of cider I decided to try something new. Coincidently my wife and daughter had stomach viruses so I chalked my upset stomach to that. while they were sick we made a tomato soup which also contained gluten which I wasent aware of.

my question is because this is my first confirmed “glutening” what do I have to look forward to? I know everyone is different but I’m hoping it doesn’t take weeks to feel better. Also this explains my previous post 🤦‍♂️

How much and for how long did you drink them? They would still be considered low gluten, so depending on how sensitive you are it's possible you may not have severe issues. This article may be helpful:

Like you everyone is different and weeks to feel better is not uncommon.  For me, it's usually about 3 days in bed.  By the fourth day I'm up and around, but it takes a few weeks to get energy back and get rid of the headache. Hope you feel better soon.

It's great to hear that eliminating gluten has helped alleviate symptoms like eye burning, which is a significant and positive change. The first and most important step is to ensure you're consuming enough protein throughout the day to support muscle repair and growth, which can be challenging with a busy schedule. Since you're already physically active at work, adding focused strength training just 2-3 times per week can make a major difference. Bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups (modified if needed), and lunges, or using resistance bands at home, are excellent, efficient places to start. Remember, consistency with these short sessions and prioritizing post-workout recovery, including good sleep and hydration, are just as crucial as the workouts themselves. It's a smart, gradual process at any age.

Trader Joe's carries a good variety of affordable gluten-free foods like bagels, hamburger buns, pasta, etc. I like Franz Gluten Free bread, which is available at my local Costco. Food For Life and Little Northern Bakehouse (advertisers here) also make excellent gluten-free breads. Costco also sells gluten-free pizzas, crackers, gravy, etc.

No, Life Extension contains Benfotiamine and Thiamine Hydrochloride. Objective Nutrients Thiamax contains TTFD.     I take both of these and a B Complex.

what Benfotiamine should I take as Life Extension contains both Ben and TTFD.
