I contacted them on the gluten-free status of their products and got this response. I use some of their salsas, refried beans, canned green chilis... Was pleasantly surprised they are working on a list...

Although gluten is not considered to be one of the major allergens that must be declared on labels, La Preferida recognizes the importance of identifying gluten free products for our consumers.

In collaboration with our suppliers, La Preferida is reviewing each ingredient statement on our products. A list of those products that are considered to be gluten free will be available within the next three (3) months.
