Color Changing Lips

all day today my upper lip and part of my lower lip keep turning a pasty color, i can put water on them and the color goes back to normal for about 1 minute then back to beeing pasty they go. It could just be chapped lips but there not cut or really chapped just diffrent color then normal. I have been tested already for anemia and it was a negitive of course that was like 3 weeks ago. if it is chapped lips what brands are safe i have some blistex medicated ointment but i dont have the box it came in anymore

your lips, as they get "pre-chapped" (my name ;-) ) change colour a bit here and there - they're not the exact same color every hour of every day. as long as they're not looking blue or purple, it's unlikely to be a big problem. keep an eye on them from time to time over the next three weeks and see how they change.

Blistex and Carmex tear up my lips....I use Bag Balm - it was originally made for cows' udders - seriously - but is sold in the drug store for humans as a soothing balm. They have a smaller container that I carry in my purse. Love it!

I use, and highly recommend, Badger Balm. You can get it in a little pot, or a tube. Great flavors, and I spoke with the company--they contain no gluten.

      New labs are now very elevated

      Hello, I was very stick, with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel. Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change? What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?...

One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to...

      Is Cracker Barrel`s gluten-free menu safe for kids with celiac disease?

      I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
