I'm going to visit my friend next month in Albuquerque. I've done some internet searches and I found Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and Wild Oats, but they are ALL on the Northeast side of town. My friend lives on the Southwest side of town. That's a heck of a drive!

What are some other places to shop that might be in that part of the US? What about restaurants? I know some of the old standards (Outback saved my butt on my last business trip) but I don't know any local places.

Paisano's Italian Restaurant 1935 Eubank Blvd NE is wonderful. The owner has Celiac and you can get sandwichs at lunch time as well as pasta anytime. My son and I love the Calamari which is better than most gluten recipes. Other than that it is PF Changs their Pei Wai (sp) and so forth. The chains are your best bet. There are a few off the chain but they depend on which chef is on to really trust. Talin World Market Address

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.

To evaluate the TTG antibody result we’d need to know the normal range for that lab.  Labs don’t all use the same units.  However, based on any normal ranges that I’ve seen and the listed result being greater than a number rather than a specific number, I’d say yes, that is high! Higher than the range where the test can give a quantitative result. You got good advice not to change your diet yet.  If you went gluten free your intestines would start to heal, confusing any further testing,
