Ok so i have a list that says Tyson clearly discloses gluten, so i was in the store first i got this thinking it was hormel woops but i checked the other products next to it all tyson and 2 of them on the bottom said Contains Wheat and Milk, so i found this one right above it does not say anything about wheat or milk, i want to eat it but at the same time im afraid since these products have a shelf fridge life of 3 years what if its a old box and it just has not gotten the new lables on it yet, has anyone had these i am doing really good not glutening myself and i want to keep it that way but at the same time the ham is alredy in the oven. I tried there 1800 number and seeing as its a sunday they are closed :(

Sometimes you can psych yourself into a glutening, and think you're getting symptoms when you're not. I've done it. Especially when trying something new! I would trust Tyson, since they disclose, but I don't know anything about their cc practices. Most hams are gluten-free anyway, but you of course have to check.

Good luck :)

I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.

It's great to hear that eliminating gluten has helped alleviate symptoms like eye burning, which is a significant and positive change. The first and most important step is to ensure you're consuming enough protein throughout the day to support muscle repair and growth, which can be challenging with a busy schedule. Since you're already physically active at work, adding focused strength training just 2-3 times per week can make a major difference. Bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups (modified if needed), and lunges, or using resistance bands at home, are excellent, efficient places to start. Remember, consistency with these short sessions and prioritizing post-workout recovery, including good sleep and hydration, are just as crucial as the workouts themselves. It's a smart, gradual process at any age.

Trader Joe's carries a good variety of affordable gluten-free foods like bagels, hamburger buns, pasta, etc. I like Franz Gluten Free bread, which is available at my local Costco. Food For Life and Little Northern Bakehouse (advertisers here) also make excellent gluten-free breads. Costco also sells gluten-free pizzas, crackers, gravy, etc.
