Enjoy. I drink lots of Propel, by the makers of Gatorade.

I am in desperate need of how to find out if my hair products are g f. I am new on the forum and don't know how to work it so well. I never even considered that my hair wasn't growing because of celiac! It hasn't grown for some time now. :( Help....

Thank goodness it's gluten free cuz I love it! I buy the powder mix stuff at walmart and will mix it up into a water bottle to drink after I work out! It rocks!

Hi Cheryl, :)

Hope you find this forum helpful. However it can take a lot of time to find the info you need. Probably the best bet would be to contact the company. I have found that some of the websites address the gluten-free issue in their FAQ. I'm not sure where I found it on here but someone posted that Fructisse products are not gluten-free and that Dove products are. I do know that the mousse I was using by Herbal Essence states right on the label "wheat startch".

Best of luck!! B) from another "newbie"

I do the same exact thing. I buy the powder at Walmart and mix it up in an empty bottle. I drink at least a quart if not more every day!

Just a note of caution. Gatorade is high in sodium. Some of the runners on my daughter's cross country team were drinking it in excess and their blood pressure sky rocketed. Guess the saying is true.... all things in moderation. (except gluten... of course).

This is really helpful  I had not considered sugar alcohols or inulin as triggers. Thanks for the practical baking tips too color coding and baking G F first makes a lot of sense. Thiamax (TTFD) plus a B-complex, and if you want benfotiamine, the Life Extension formula covers that at ~100 mg.

High fiber can definitely cause sudden GI distress especially if it’s a new addition but accidental gluten exposure can feel similar. Keeping a simple food/symptom log and introducing new gluten-free foods one at a time can really help you spot the pattern. Thanks for asking  I’m mainly looking for gluten-free staples and snacks. Any recommendations for brands or go-to items would be appreciated.

sorry a bit confused so I should take my B complex along with Objective Nutrients Thiamax for TTFD but what about a Benfotiamine to take. The Life extensions contains Benfotiamine and Thiamine together or im confusing myself. I am trying to see if I take Thiamax what should I take for Benfotiamine. Thanks EDITING after further research I see ones water soluble ones fat soluble. So I guess 100MG as you suggested of Life Extension contains Benfotiamine and Thiamine Hydrochloride. and the Objective Nutrients Thiamax contains TTFD.     would work for me.

I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.
