i am flying down to florida tomorrow... with security measures as crazy as they are right now i do not plan on carrying anything on... i am flying jet blue... does anyone know if any of the snacks or drinks that they serve are gluten free? my favorite snack of theirs is the terra blue potato chips

They don't allow any liquids (even semi-liquids, like shampoo, hair gel etc.), but solid food is not a problem. I know, because I had two teenagers go back to Germany this past week, one on Monday with Transat, and one yesterday with British Airways. Even the one with British Airways was fine with solid food.

so.... I accidentally got on the plane with a drink... lol.. I don't know how it happened.. but I was in a rush ran into Cibo at JFK and grabbed food and drink for the plane.. totally forgetting drinks weren't allowed... when I got on the plane I thought UT-OH... I had a HORIZON Strawberry Milk... I went without drink because I was afraid of being attacked by an undercover cop for drinking milk... lol... whoops.. but I did find 2 gluten free items in Cibo.. a sesami bar that was OK.. but not worth the fat... and this chocolate popcorn that was pretty good and low fat :)

cool, where are u flying from?? My cousin's are coming down here (Florida) tomorrow, be cool, if you were on the same flight :D Their flying in Palm International Airport I believe.

oh, you already flew down?? darn it! :huh:

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oh my......will the danger never end? It has seemed like no matter what we do or have done the odds were/are against us. Next they'll tell us that just looking at wheat will be dangerous. Oh well....hang in there.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
