Mygawd.. . . .penii AND balls on the tree?...Well done, Lough!

But what is this? You have found ornaments that look like penii?? Where and how on earth did you ever find these? I have always had to make anything I wanted to be penile myself -- earrings is a great example.. . .. had to make a bunch o' those for my girlfriends and sister because, incredibly, I could NOT find any such thing in ANY store in the Ottawa area or beyond. Hadda make my own Sculpy penis keychains, napkin rings. . . .. . .. ..man, good thing I'm an artist... . .. .what do people do who cannot configure these things themselves, and suddenly really need matching penis hair ornaments?? man, I'm lucky .. .. . . . ....

GAH! Low-eeee! Whot in hell is happening over there?? Hell, now, you really are procrastinating over something .. .... . ...this must be the worst case we've seen!!:lol:

I used to work at a store called Treasure Island and they sold seasonal products. The day after Christmas everything was half price. The employees were allowed to put aside everything they wanted to buy. That's where I found the peni and matching balls. BTW, I also make jewelry and earrings! Still !!!!

You can't manage both? A morning of skiing, an afternoon of shopping?

Lo, step away from the computer! Go directly to the nearest Catholic church and inquire about an exorcist and some holy water!

I saw that jumbled post a few minutes ago and it was fine, not jumbled.

I'm Jewish (we celebrate both holidays) can I still get baptized and have the house (or my computer exorcised?). BTW, The Exorcist is Clrk's all time favorite movies (also Rosemary's Baby).

I'm in a funk. No idea why. Jesse leaves at 6am Sunday morning for Cleveland for a week for business and I should be making all sorts of fun plans wif the kids and I just can't seem to do it.

GAH!!!! Now I know why! Knew sumphin bad was gonna happen <_< Just got a call from the hub. 3 days ago this was the conversation:

me-We should leave really early for Bend next weekend so we can go skiing all day before dinner

him-Yeah! That would be fun!

Today-this was the conversation:

Me-Where are we staying? We should try to leave Fri nite so we can be up on the mt at 9 when the lifts open...

Him-What are you talking about? I'm going to be playing poker at noon...

Me-What?! You said we'd go skiing

Him-I never said that, I knew I was playing poker...

Me-What am I supposed to do? Can't go to Bend without going skiing!

Him-I don't know.... I'm sure the other ladies are going shopping, why don't you go shopping with them?

GAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm going to sign up for the 3 hour snow shoeing trek...ALONE!!!! <_< <_< <_<

 x100.

Is he going to stay with you on Saturday or will he be leaving wif his dd? Maybe you 2 can steal a moment in the little booth you're stuck in..... ;)

Can't open it at work! Must be bad.....

So sorry Raashell- you have every reason to be in a funk. I'd punish him by spending lots of money on yourself. I know you were looking forward to this for a long time. Anyway for him to compromise and spend some time playing poker but most of it skiing with you? I'd let him know exactly how you pfeel.

Sending lots of (((HEALING HUGS)))

kareng Grand Master

Ran into the most famous Open Original Shared Linkin Seattle, and all she could talk about was her addiction to an Open Original Shared Link

Matt loves that app. Ron says lots of people at work have it on the iPads.

Would any of the other ladies want to ski? Could ski alone. Then you don't have to go down any slope you don't like,or go thru the terrian park over and over, and only stop for the bathroom when you want to.

You do not have to be Catholic to use the services of the exorcist. Saw that the Church was training a bunch recently as there is an increased need for them.

I don't like to ski alone and I don't know the other women well enough. If I was going to Mt. Hood, I'd be fine going alone cuz I know the mountain. I'm very sure I'd kill myself if I skied Bachelor alone. There is a 4 hour guided snowshoe trek that I might do instead.

P.S. No rectifying for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Catholic and when we had our little exorcism in our haunted house when I was little, my mom was too afraid to talk to our priest about it so she got the pastor from the church next door to come and do it so no one we knew would find out :P

Last frickin class. Turning in last homework. I just want to go home and nap, but instead I'll be doing that stupid play. I think I should plan all my things to end a week earlier than they actually do.

I bought them there (in NJ) about 18 years ago. They are beautiful penises. Clear with sparkles. The set comes with balls also (tee hee).

BTW, good news! My GI from NJ faxed a referral to the GI I want to use. Now I just have to sign a release form when I see him. Hopefully he'll be able to help me more than the current one. I know that my husband's colleague has been very happy with him and he suffered from an extreme case of IBS before he went there.

I'm in SJ at my son's house. Tomorrow, the guys have a holiday lunch they attend every year with a car club they belong to. Mark missed it last year, due to living in TexAss, so they are really looking forward to it. We're just hanging out today :)

Last night we attended Mark's company Christmas party which turned out to be a lot of fun. I met everyone (had met a few previously) and the waitress assigned to our table was fantastic with my food that I brought.

She had it heated in my container, plated it herself with clean utensils, and timed all this perfectly so I was served along wif everyone else. I swear, if you blinked, you wouldn't have known there was anything different. They even made another girl at our table a vegetarian meal.

Of course right before we left, Mark and I took her aside and thanked her again and gave her a nice tip.

Can ya'll believe it's 2 weeks till Christmas!!!

Do you have kitty condos in your store, Peter?? My kitteh (spoiled brat) has one of those and she has so totally outgrown it, I'm afraid it's going to collapse or that she will fall off the top perch (she sprawls over the edges). But I looked at the prices of new ones and they didn't look as sturdy as this one and they were over $400!! Haven't they heard that the price of real estate has dropped???

Show went well. BE showed up in my room at 2am. Apparently I'm very welcoming to "strangers" in the middle of the night.  I probably should work on that. Anyway. He's coming to the show tonight with his dd. Should be fun. Today I'm going to work on cleaning my house and studying for my stupid final.

Yes, we have cat furniture. Nothing as rich as $400. The most expensive is about half that, if I recall correctly.

He apparently called from the boat (he came back late from Seattle) as if I'm up at 1:30 am fielding invitations. He was to tired to drive home and was willing to take the couch  if I was too grouchy. I'm glad. Now I won't be grinning at him like a fool when he's with his daughter. :P

$150 is about the priciest I've seen.

Heavy rain here. Major flood watch. I just love the names of the rivers that usually flood.

* Rivers facing at least a moderate threat of flooding include the

Satsop and Chehalis rivers in Lewis and Grays Harbor

counties... the Elwha off the Olympics in Clallam County... the

Nooksack Skagit stillaguamish Snohomish Skykomish and Snoqualmie

rivers flowing off the north Cascades... and the Deschutes

Cowlitz and Skookumchuck flowing off the central Cascades.

Your story is a powerful and heartbreaking testament to the profound damage that can be caused by undiagnosed celiac disease and the profound pain of not being believed or supported by family. It is sadly a common narrative within the celiac community to have suffered for years, even decades, while autoimmune conditions stack up, all while being dismissed. To answer your core question: yes, living in a environment with significant, constant gluten exposure, especially from airborne flour in a home where milling and baking occurred, would have created a perpetual state of autoimmune activation for you, even beyond the direct ingestion. This chronic exposure is strongly linked to the development and exacerbation of the very autoimmune disorders you describe—Migraines, Meniere's, Hashimoto's, and more. Your body was under constant attack, and the lack of care and understanding from your family compound that trauma significantly. It is not your fault. Many in the community share similar stories of a cascade of illnesses finally explained by a celiac diagnosis, often coming too late to prevent irreversible damage. While I cannot speak to the legal aspects of your inheritance situation, your experience with the medical neglect and the lasting impact of your childhood environment is deeply valid and shared by others who understand this unique type of suffering. Thank you for having the courage to share your truth. Celiac.com has published a book on our site by Jean Duane PhD called Gluten-Centric Culture, which covers many of the social aspects of having celiac disease: This chapter in particular covers issues around eating with family and others - Gluten-Centric Culture: Chapter 5 - Grabbing A Bite Together:

It's incredibly tough to watch a young child grapple with the frustration and sense of deprivation that comes with a restrictive diet, and your empathy for her is the first and most important step. At seven, children are deeply focused on fairness, and her feelings are completely valid. To support her mental health, shift the narrative from "missing out" to "empowered choice." Instead of "you can't have that," use language like "we choose these safe foods so your tummy feels happy and strong." Involve her directly in her own care; let her be the "Gluten-Free Detective" at the grocery store, picking out exciting new treats, or make her the head chef in baking a special dessert that everyone gets to enjoy. When eating out, empower her by having her call the restaurant ahead to ask about safe options (with your help), making her feel in control rather than a passive victim. Acknowledge her feelings—"It's okay to feel sad that you can't have the roll, I sometimes feel that way too"—and then immediately pivot to a positive action, like unwrapping the special brownie you brought just for her. This combination of validation, involvement, and reframing turns a limitation into a shared family challenge where she feels supported, capable, and loved.

I know that Shiloh Farms makes this product, but I don't think it is labeled gluten-free.

Many people with celiac disease, especially those who are in the 0-2 year range of their recovery, have additional food intolerance issues which could be temporary. To figure this out you may need to keep a food diary and do an elimination diet over a few months. Some common food intolerance issues are dairy/casein, eggs, corn, oats, and soy. The good news is that after your gut heals (for most people who are 100% gluten-free this will take several months to two years) you may be able to slowly add some these items back into your diet after the damaged villi heal. This article may be helpful:

It's strange to see two very different results in what appears to be a single blood test--one is positive and one is negative for a celiac disease test. Are these results separated by time? This article might be helpful. It breaks down each type of test, and what a positive results means in terms of the probability that you might have celiac disease. One test that always needs to be done is the IgA Levels/Deficiency Test (often called "Total IGA") because some people are naturally IGA deficient, and if this is the case, then certain blood tests for celiac disease might be false-negative, and other types of tests need to be done to make an accurate diagnosis. The article includes the "Mayo Clinic Protocol," which is the best overall protocol for results to be ~98% accurate.
